It's shown in the very first post in this thread.
Click on your own current Avatar on the right of the top menu bar to see your options.

If "Signature" and "Avatar" don't appear in your menu, then you haven't met the criteria for these yet.
(Sorry, I don't know exactly what the criteria is - even I can't find the rules! )

I did see that but since it was from back in 2014s and a lot more people seem to have avatars now (and new site owners) I wasn't sure it it was a request thing or something that needed to be done

I was unable to make signature as well some time ago. Now I tried to do it in profile menu, and it worked. It has to have some connection to post count, just be active and the option will get possible.

Don't really know what you are referring to - KasinoKing's post that i have to meet certain criteria?
Either way, i understand its most likely because i dont meet certain criteria, what i meant to say was - i wish i knew what that criteria is...

Mason Jones you need more quality posts to be upgraded.

If you dont see signature in your menu then you dont meet the criterias

Is there a specific of amount (quality) posts I need to have before I can get the signature or is the post count evaluated case by case?

1'st post most definitely doesn't give you access to avatar, signature & or link. AFAIK there is a minimum post count. But, in saying that, lets say a new member was to post dribble (useless posts), to raise "post count", then that wont work either
