We received the following email:

"Hello,

We have been working to improve the GentingBet affiliate programme and will be making some changes to the Terms and Conditions from April 30th 2021 that we wanted you to know about.

The principle changes are:

Term 7.10 - No Negative Carryover as from 1 May 2021. Any negative commissions on your account at the end of a calendar month will be reset to zero for the beginning of the next month
Term 7.12 - Extension period to affiliate accounts being declared dormant/inactive from 3 months to 6 months with more lenient criteria including commission being gradually reduced rather than terminated
Term 7.3 - For some affiliates on CPA deals a 6 month time limit for customers registering to deposit will apply

From 30 April 2021 these terms will supersede any previous versions of the GentingBet Affiliate terms and your acceptance of the new terms will be required for your continued membership of the program.

Emails are one thing, the real terms another. Of course only due to human error they forgot to mention term 7.13 in their email.

Because the terms are the only thing which matters, here the full facts:

7.12 Should any Affiliate fail to refer any new depositing Customers to Genting within any six (6) month period following the Commencement Date (or fail to earn GGR in excess of £1000 for Customers referred for a period of 6 months), then in addition to its rights elsewhere in this Agreement Genting may (but shall not be obliged to) effect a reduction to any Commission earned by the Affiliate to 10% of Customer NGR until such time as new depositing Customers are introduced again; This will not affect any players acquired on a Promotional Rate where the % agreed may still apply for the period applicable to that Rate

7.13 Any Affiliate failing to refer any new depositing customers for 12 months will be considered dormant and regardless of any promotional rates will be moved to a commission rate of 5% NGR

7.3 CPA’s where offered and configured within our AMS will only be paid where a referred Customer registers and deposits within 6 months of registration and will be subject to completion of registration, verification, qualifying Deposit and Customers compliance with the Gaming Website’s terms of use. Genting may further suspend, terminate or cancel CPA’s upon 24 hours notice to the Affiliate at any time.
