Slotland - Affiliate Spammer Issue

If my findings are right one of their affiliates is blasting negative SEO spamlinks all over genuine affiliates their gambling sites.

e.g.:
intelligentpokerDOTxyz/game_web_winningsDOThtml
best-gamblingDOTxyz/views_on_play_poker_online_for_money_-_online_gameDOThtml
poker-rakebackDOTxyz/win__types_of_web_card_pokerDOThtml
poker-casinoDOTxyz/casino_gambling___internet_game_-_kenoDOThtml

the list is immense, hundreds of pages all with interlinks but also one link to a genuine affiliates. Some got hundred of bad links in the last days.

all same nameservers:
ns1.bet-botDOTcom
ns2.bet-botDOTcom
e.g.: whois.domaintoolsDOTcom/video-poker-freeDOTtop

Hunderds of sites hosted at fasthosts UK, a lot of them open a popunder to SlotlandDOTeu

Would be great if SlotLand can have a look and spread the word to other genuine programs, affiliates and fora so together we can keep these b*ast*rds out of our industry.

Deliberately targeting (READ DESTROYING) hard working affiliates with negative SEO should be stopped by all means.

Hi, these are very interesting findings, but for some reason I was not able to get the pop under window containing Slotland link. These spam methods will move this affiliate to a suspended state immediately of course!

Would it be possible to send me a PM so that we can trace this affiliate down?

The last I worry about is the popups, unders or any of those. If the guy doesn't earn a penny I do not care. The issue here is the blasting of genuine affiliates sites with negative links. This can (and will!) harm genuine affiliates. A potential disaster...

Your own affiliates are targeted too, so any operator/aff.program working with scammers should terminate business with these guys. Programs that allow these scammers basically support them financially, by paying them revenue. Which they use to kill genuine affiliates that bring high converting traffic.

We will wait for his explanation as this can be classified as fraudulent activity which is against our T&C.

Obviously you are free to "wait for his explanation" but... I think that both you, me as all genuine affiliates and affiliate-managers know pretty well that this is a scammer deliberately hurting affiliates.

Spun content that is scraped, negative SEO links to hurt genuine portals, geo targeted IP blocks, hidden and fake registration details.... You are long enough in the business to know that when it looks like sh*t, smell like sh*t it probably is pure sh*t....

You are probably correct on that, @affacc , but I agree you always have to talk to both sides. Slotland Affiliates already suspended his account - so they did the right thing here. Nothing wrong with following up with the guilty party.

I can assure any affiliate manager who has any doubt, that these linked pages, scraped content, and ultimately hacked sites, are not the work of noob script kiddies or ignorant noob affiliates.

In fact, are more that likely, an organised criminal ring, who as the OP stated, operated Decicated Servers and have literally 1000's upon 1000's of URL's, all used to steal the rightful income of hard-working-affiliates. Asking this scum bag for an explaination, is like trusting him with your credit card... You wouldn't...

Hey Robert - you should just ban this guy. I won't get any better. I'm sure he did take down the stuff that we noticed and pointed out to him, but other stuff will continue to pop up. I don't think this affiliate is worth your time.
