“Net Revenue Share. Under the Net Revenue plan your commission is calculated as the sum of all real money deposits made by your referred players minus a 15% admin/transaction fee, minus real withdrawal payouts sent to your referred players and minus any potential chargebacks.”

Test signup and deposit is made from the Country ‘Serbia’.
Date of deposit: 16th January 2024

We deposited $17.33 / 0.0004 via BTC and took a welcome bonus of 77%.

Our balance with the welcome offer was $30.68 and we started playing some slots.

Eventually, we lost all the funds and checked the earnings report:

For the deposit of $17.33 / 0.0004 BTC, NGR was $14.73
Since we have a 45% deal, commission was $6.63

To summarize, the Effective Net Gaming Revenue (the amount of money deposited and lost) is 14.73/17.33=85%.

Finally, multiply the advertised revenue share rate with the Effective NGR to see your real revenue share rate, e.g:

• 25% = 21.25 %
• 30% = 25.50 %
• 35% = 29.75 %
• 40% = 34.00 %
• 45% = 38.25 %

I was hoping, given, they accept crypto, which was used in the test, that they'd be more aligned with programs such as Total Affiliates and others who advertise X and actual pay 100% of X.

A couple of % difference, I guess is tolerable. However @ 45%, one loses 6.75%:

• $6.75 per $100 lost
• $675 per $10,000 lost
• $6,750 per $100,000 lost

@SLA-Juan - maybe time to rework the GGR deductions, to ensure affiliates receive commissions, which are closer to, and truly represent, the advertised commission percentages.

In general I agree with @AussieDave on the fact that zero admin fee make the math behind calculating commission more simple and transparent. If launching a completely new affiliate program, I'd definitely stick with it.

We did try following the suit. Sadly we didn't get an approval on getting rid of admin fee altogether (just yet?), mostly coz of having tons of players at our older brands (Slotland + Winaday) where the fees make sense considering the scale of non-crypto transactions and the costs thereof.

Where I find your argument a bit lacking @AD, is the example used. Upon quickly glancing over their site, TA strictly offer 30% revshare. So while your effective revshare of 30% with them would still be 30%, in our case the 45% revshare that e.g. LCB is on, offers an effective rs of 38.25%. Which equals to whopping +27.5% more in earnings compared than what TA offers, even despite not offering 100% GGR. The more, the merrier?

With my point being, in the end it's usually a zero-sum game. Higher admin fees equal to higher revshare deals on the offer and vice versa, leaving offers of some bogus come-n-go programs completely aside (errr, 70% revshare, anyone?)

Needless to say, we've been paying commission since 1998, so no need to worry about getting paid with us in the long term.

Definitely MUCH better. However, why the 'Admin Fee'

Slotland have always used their own, in-house, proprietary-software. Hence, they're not paying royalty to a software provider/s. Not that I believe affiliates should wear that royalty fee.

Moving along, Slotland is licensed at the Union of Comoros (archipelago off Africa’s east coast).

This Island nation has experienced more than 20 coups or attempted coups, with various heads of state assassinated. Along with this constant political instability, it has one of the worst levels of income inequality of any nation, and ranks in the lowest quartile on the Human Development Index.

About half the population lives below the international poverty line of US$1.25 a day.

Surely the lack of royalty fee(s) being paid to a 3'rd party software provider/s, would eliminated the need to charge an 'Admin Fee'. Or, is Slotland like other programs these days, throwing the 'Admin Fee' in because it's a case of... Monkey see - Monkey do!

I would think, given it's an AGD sponsor, and according to the AGD logo...

Yes you have been paying long term. BUT... that's how it should be, when, a B2B deal is struck. Just because you've honored that deal/agreement, isn't grounds for pats on the back per se.

Still think the 'Admin Fee' is poor-taste. Regardless of how it's spun. There's no justifiable reason to charge it.
