@TTR - the IP used to spam you, came from 31.31.203.183

Doing a reverse IP, the following sites all use ovzhost47.vps.reg.ru. You could try forwarding the spam emails to: abuse@reg.ru

Without digging deeper, and spending a lot more time, I can't tell with 100% fact, the above sites are, or are not, directly connect to Alpha affiliates.

---------

In so far as Alpha Affiliates, they're using CloudFlare. But I've managed to locate their direct IP (being hidden by CF)...

A direct-connect IP address was found: alpha-affiliates.com 50.63.202.49 UNITED STATES

An attempt to fetch a page from this IP was unsuccessful.

Previous lookups for this domain:

2018-05-05: alpha-affiliates.com 50.63.202.49 UNITED STATES

---------

There's approx 351 domains/sites sharing the above IP.

this is the biggest domain registration site in russia

What is the sense to detect spam source? Ofc they will not doing directly from their domain or casino

Hello to everybody!

We feel a great sorry to be involved in all this slander as we don`t do any spam for a lot of years since we are on the market since 2012 and has never faced with anything like that. We don`t find TTR screenshots to prove anything and feel more like an attempt to denigrate our reputation.
We have some affiliates and they do mailing to their absolutely legal database and we try to check and choose the best and trusted affiliates

I cleaned my SPAM folder today and saw 3 more GunsBet emails in there. All of them are sent from promo at gunsbet.com and have my full name inside.

I am pretty sure that Loki Casino shared my info with Gunsbet because the footer of all emails coming from Loki and Gunsbet are identical.

Honorable jopaa

You couldn`t get these emails if you wouldn`t register in Gunsbet Casino. This is our original email templates which we send only for our players registered in our casino. Please send us your email address and we will tell you that date of your registration in Gusnbet

Best regards Alpha-Affiliates

@jopaa - the only way to solve this is to give your email address so they can see if you have registered at Gunsbet. Without this info we (the AGD team) cannot get the relevant evidence to try and resolve this complaint.

@melcb - Maybe you missed my post in this thread...

Back in 2018, Gunsbet (who at the time were to not certified) commenced a thread looking to expand into the AU market.
https://www.affiliateguarddog.com/community/threads/australia-accept-and-look-for-traffic.11341/

At some point in that thread, PaaskeUK posted the following:

I am a bit or actually very concerned as the Rep / OP for this affiliate program has sent me a PM trying to get me to sign up to the affiliate program surely that is against the rules??? (spam) but what is even more concerning is he used my First Name ??? How the heck has he/her got my real name????

PaaskeUK is a straight shooting affiliate, and so too is Jopaa, along with other respected ADG members. Clearly GunsBet obtained PaaskeUK's personal details somehow, and that somehow wasn't given freely by PaaskeUK.

How they've obtain that person information, is anyone's guess.

However now we have Jopaa stating they've spammed him... Seems like Gunsbet et al have some questionable marketing ethics.

I'm not trying to stir the pot per se, but two respected members, who AFAIK don't make idle BS claims, there has to be some value in their claims...just saying.

I can understand the conundrum here, but it's common practice to never use the usubscribe link on spam emails, unless you want the spammer to receive validation the email is legit and active.

Hence I can understand Jopaa not wanting to give out his email addy.

Lets not play games here, any affiliate who has been around a while, knows full well, some affiliate programs, just like their gaming entities, exchange contact details of both affiliates and players: swap; trade; sell or whatever, this practice has been going on for years.

And when they're called to accountability on it... the quasi justification and excuses flow!

No pot stirred, thanks for the reminder and extra info. Hard to keep track of everything happening at all times, have to shack off the holiday fog post Christmas!

I agree with this, they are not the first to swap or buy lists and wont be the last. With this said we cannot mark them as predatory or rogue for this. However this forum is a place for knowledge, sharing information etc and this thread now becomes evidence of Alpha spamming affiliates and players, affiliates now have the info and the choice to promote their brands or not.

@Alpha-Affiliates - This sort of emailing practice will lose you affiliates, please take this as a lesson to improve and do business in a more honest manner.

As I said above:

- I will not give you my email address (even if it seems that you already have it including my full name)
- I did not registered an account with Gunsbet.
- I am sure that emails are somehow related to Loki Casino (I am registered here) because the email templates are the same.

I don't really care about spam because I don't even check that folder very often but the thing that makes me mad is that you are trying to convince me that I have an account at Gunsbet.
