HI WCD Admin,

Did you ask Tatiana why the docs were necessary? I just pointed this thread to her in email.

I find it strange to affect your earnings also. Very strange.

I pointed her here this morning when I posted this. Things tend to drag out with these programs (especially via email). I'd like to see that change. I am really busy and tend to be away from my computer sometimes for days at a time, then things get backed up, forgotten etc.

I'm all for handling things in private but I'm tired of getting dogged around and given ridiculous reasons for things like slow pay / no pay, etc... I can't keep up with it. It has gotten to the point where its better to take complaints straight to the forums (because they actually get dealt with) and people usually try to make sense in public. Believe me, I'd rather just get paid ...

but ... I won't get paid anyway because of the way Bonne Chance has it worked for me... EACH white label has to make 1500$ for me to get a check. (I can't get QT because QuickTender refuses to pay to a corporate bank account for some reason). So here I am with several little programs that don't make me too much money (I guess I'll get paid every 6 months to a year per program) ....

I have tried to send this information UP-stream via my affiliate managers, but the message is not getting through or they (BC) don't care to help me out because they could easily bundle my WL casino earnings each month into one check so I could get paid. :( so if anyone is listening... now is the time to help me out.

I am glad to see Rival Rep on board because we have been seriously lacking a "central" point of contact to handle things like this.

I am not one to hold a grudge. I'm ready for things to get right again and make some $$

I can totally relate to everything you just said. I hate emails also, because of things getting dragged on and me getting backed up. I prefer being able to reach affiliate managers straight away on the telephone, if not by messenger, where I can ask all my questions in one session and get the answers at the same time. I don't spend much time working with programs that don't give me easy access to reach the account managers that way, or to programs with account managers that give me the "I'll have to find out and get back to you" line too often.... and then drag that on.

As far as Rivals go, I lost faith in them quite awhile back. I don't understand why anyone would give any of them much time or space at this point. With the exception of Box24, Black Diamond and Sloto. All the rest of the Rivals are a crap shoot if you ask me.

You should be paid. If they had a good reason for holding your earnings until they got docs from the player, then they should have given you that reason when they told you they were waiting for the docs. Afterall, this isn't a standard scenario. I've never heard of any program holding earnings till they received docs from a player. Then again, this is Rival.

I am really interested to find out what their reason for this is.

I got an email reply back from Tatiana. She doesn't work with Ruby Royal anymore. Because of this, she said that if affiliate have any issues they'll need to contact affiliates@rubyroyal.com directly. I'm sorry to hear she's no longer working with Ruby, as Tatiana was very easy to reach and very helpful.

I hate only having that affiliates@ email for the Rival afffiliate programs. That's a "maybe you will" or "maybe you won't" get a reply email address. Ugh

Are there any other affiliates with the same problem of having earnings held due to player documents not being received?

Its still not in the affiliate T's and C's though...Not that I can see anyway.

Also, if they 'lost overall' then what would they be requesting a withdrawal for?

It's not uncommon to withdraw *something* even if you are down overall. Say you deposit $100 and lose, deposit another $100 and win $150 and decide to cut your losses?

We refer to the various posts relating to “No pay because Player didn't provide ID docs? - Ruby Royal Affiliates” May we point out that the sole reason why the affiliate payment in this particlaur case was kept on hold was due that the balance of US$269.46 being below the limit for eCheckUS payments. We apologise for any possible misunderstanding from our end in this regard. We invite the affiliate to provide another payment method like NT, MB or EWx and full payment will be settled in due course. If affiliate is keen to receive payment immediately, even though the amount is relatively small we will process the payment straightaway if they provide their wire transfer details to us.

Now in relation to the comments of us holding affiliate payments we would like to keep our affiliates minds at rest that in general we do not keep affiliate payments on hold and we process these by the 15th of the month in accordance with our terms and conditions. It is only in instances which are quite rare, like in the case when commissions of a particular affiliate are mainly generated by 1 new player and only where we see there is a significant potential of a chargeback. Even in such instances we only hold to the affiliate commission payment until the following month for us to be able to obtain a better view of the player. If by then the player does not chargeback then we will process the affiliate payment straightaway.

Regarding our terms and conditions please allow me to refer you to following clause of our terms and conditions to clear any possible misconceptions:

3.4 Good Faith
You will not benefit from known or suspected traffic not generated in good faith whether or not it actually causes us damage. We reserve the right to retain all amounts due to you under this Agreement if we have reasonable cause to believe that such traffic has been caused with your knowledge. Even if you have not knowingly generated such traffic, we reserve the right to withhold Advertising Revenue with respect to such traffic.

We started to apply this clause when we noted instances where some affiliates bring only 1 major player to Ruby and after we pay the commission to the affiliate for his 1 player, the player chargeback to us. In such circumstances we were ending having to cover the full loss ourselves with the added blow of paying affiliate commissions on the loss generated by the player as well. As said above we are very cautious and we do not apply this irresponsibly as maintaining a very good relationship with all our affiliates is one of our foremost goals.

Hope this helps.

Ruby Royal: There was no misunderstanding in the email. Your affiliate manager said:

"The amount that we currently owe you is 269.46. However, please note that 230.14 out of your total commission was generated from one player that still needs to send in his security documents. Once this documents are received we will be ready to release the payment. "

Then in a separate paragraph talked about the minimum payments. Two separate topics.

Rival Rep: In regards to the $1500 threshhold.... You can see one of your W.L. affiliates are not able to get paid unless they make $1500 per brand. This could easily be dealt with if you would allow eChecks to be processed for all W.L. brands in one payment, or lower the limit to push checks. $250 or $500 seems to be more fair. Can you help with this?

Daera: sorry I misspoke. I got the email from "Viola" and had emailed her back about the thread.

Rick:
and also Steve (BB1) also offered this. I hope I don't have to take anyone up on this, but thanks. I'm still holding out for a more permanent solution to the problem.

That would be great, thanks - I will contact you. I updated original message to reflect that I'm being paid

I appreciate your comment on the situation. That is helpful to know for sure. However I don't fit in that category, I was asked repeatedly by the manager to put your site up on the World Casino Directory -- so I am not "that" affiliate.

Thanks for coming in here and clearing things up, though. And on second thought, I'd much rather you get together with Rival Rep and help come up with a long term solution to my problem... any chance of that?
