Austria – Important Update

Dear Affiliates,

As of 1st May 2016, 40% Gaming Tax will be deducted from Gross Gaming Revenue (GGR) generated by players residing in Austria.

This decision has not been taken lightly, and we have held off from levying these costs to affiliates for as long as possible, but to be able to continue to offer our services to your players residing in Austria, we have to abide by Austrian legislation and deduct the 40% from all Austrian players GGR.

We understand this is not positive news for affiliates, therefore we leave the forum open for comments. However our hands are pretty much tied at the moment, however we hope in future we can reduce this cost.

Hi all, Thanks for your comments. We do realise that this is a crazy high amount, but as we said, in order for us to continue to operate in this market, we do have to abide by the Austrian tax legislation. The gaming tax is 40% of Gross Revenue, and we calculate revenue share commission on net revenue.
