There are affiliates in this thread who are saying they're getting little or no earnings.

It's the casinos job to convert that traffic. Once that traffic leaves the affiliates web site, conversion is 100% out of the affiliate realm and lays squarely with the casino.

If 7red is not doing it's utmost to convert the quality traffic sent by each affiliate, then it needs to take steps to make sure it is.

Because if 7Red can not convert the traffic and the affiliate decided to drop the program, it's unethical and unfair to punish the affiliate for a job the casino is not doing!

Fair call and from what other peers have said it that seems to be true.

Cheers

:)

Dave

Dave,

Even the best business in the world has unsatisfied customers. I've been talking to affiliates who told me our conversion rate is far better than other casinos.

Getting traffic to a site is not where it ends for an affiliate because it also depends on the banners and the content they use to promote the casino. My job is to help those affiliates with their marketing and maximize their conversion.

I have no idea how and why you're coming up with implied accusations when you haven't worked with us for one day and have no idea how things actually work. One thing I can say for sure is that where you stand is not a neutral position and your words are full of negativity and lack of information.

The bottom line is that there is no magic formula and in marketing you need to optimize. The two affiliates who didn't get good conversion rate are using a no deposit bonus promotion and I can show you other affiliates such as latestdepositbonuses.com which got a real player every 40 clicks in September despite the "unethical" slash "horrible" efforts we're "not doing".

The original statement regarding non-payment is still in your t & c's

Last update: 22 January 2010

AFFILIATE'S OBLIGATIONS

In addition to the general Affiliate Declaration 7red.com Affiliates enforces the following obligations:

To be eligible for ongoing commission payments from 7red.com Affiliates the Affiliate shall actively promote the 'Participating Websites' by implementing reviews, banners or text links provided by 7red.com Affiliates. If the Affiliate has for any reason stopped promoting the 'Participating Websites' 7red.com Affiliates reserves the right to terminate the Agreement by a notice in writing (email) after which the Affiliate will not longer be paid for any revenue generated by the referred players.

And personally after this statement...

I agree Dave and from the same perspective we're not working with any affiliate that knocks on our door. We need to invest time in every affiliates and we try to pick the ones that can produce quality traffic.

I wouldn't give you the time of day. We have a 10,000+ member forum but that doesn't mean that we could send quality traffic especially in today's economy. One of these days you'll wish you would have accepted any and every affiliate that wanted to promote you...IMO

Seriously people, its a brand new casino using cruddy Betsoft games, run by unknown people, "fully licensed to operate in Costa Rica" (their words, not mine).

I couldn't live with myself if I recommended players go there, let alone worry about their affiliate program. Why subject your visitors to more risk than is necessary?

Getting traffic to a site is not where it ends for an affiliate

Ummm...You've missed my point, besides I don't need an education in being an affiliate - though from your comments in this thread, 7Red needs an education in running a casino and an affiliate program.

Oh and I really dislike playing semantics.

Moving along...An affiliate could be using all the resources available to him/her on their site to promote XYZ casino. The affiliate can only do so much to encourage a punter to visit the casino site.

But when the punter leaves the affiliate site and visits the casino site, it's the casino's job to covert that punter. Not the affiliate, it's totally out of the affiliates hands at that point.

After visiting the casino site and the punter does not sign-up, the casino can't blame the affiliate. The affiliate has done their job - they encouraged the player to visit the casino site.

Cheers

Nobody accused the affiliate of anything...

Again, looks like your words are coming out of bitterness. You're not relaying on any facts with what you're saying. You certainly missed MY point if that is your reply.

From what I've seen so far you have no interest in promoting us and you're definitely not giving criticism in order to improve our service so please go troll another thread. This is the last comment you get from me. I just can't keep communicating on this level.

I got this straight from the website right now if this is what your talking about....

This part was fixed today.

We do NOT take on any new brands for that very reason alone. There are enough "trusted" brands currently available to work with without taking the risk and from the 'attitude' of this representative, I doubt we will be working together anytime soon.

I will say that according to the t & c's found at the bottom of the affiliate application that this part has indeed been removed.

EVERYONE - Let's cut out the crappy comments. This includes everyone in this thread, affiliates AND affiliate manager.

Let's act professional. If you don't want to promote them - don't. However - we are trying to get their terms proper and they have been willing to work with us on this.

Thank you.

Hi Andy (all),

Fair call on the keep things civil.

new casino using cruddy Betsoft games, run by unknown people, "fully licensed to operate in Costa Rica" (their words, not mine).

I don't understand why AGD bothers with these joints, seriously.

The only reason the affiliate terms are being fixed is to have the ban lifted.

Programs that put these predatory terms in place are fully aware of what their doing. How can you trust they wont pull a shifty with stats or some other means?

And besides they have no qualms is stating they are "fully licensed to operate in Costa Rica", which we all know is utter BS.

I couldn't live with myself if I recommended players go there, let alone worry about their affiliate program. Why subject your visitors to more risk than is necessary?

If we really are an industry where affiliates should look out for players, then again I ask why bother with this place or those like it. Why risk having these joints bite you and; affiliates and; players in the butt!

Take for instance their General Bonus Terms:
* The bonuses are given in Casino chips and cannot be cashed out. However, any winnings using the Casino chips are available for withdrawal.
** Please allow 24 hours for bonuses to show in your account.
*** $/€/£ 50 deposit during the weekend is required for bonus eligibility.
**** Your friend must to mention your username or full name via email directly to our support team.
Bonus Policy: Unlike other Casinos' bonuses, we are simple and clear to understand.
We don't require an impossible roll-out, rather we deliver Casino chips straight into your account. The chips are yours to play with right away but cannot be cashed out.
However, any money you win with those chips is available for withdrawal. This is the fairest policy you will find, guaranteed!

---------

4 separate * (asterisk) but no reference to their extended bonus clause terms. What that's it, their bonus terms and conditions consist of six (6) single line sentences

---------

Casino Terms:
9. You will not bet with multiple e-mail addresses nor use any other device to play multiple times or as a multiple `user', and You fully aware that should You attempt to bet with multiple e-mail addresses under multiple identities or use any device to create multiple accounts, You will be disqualified.

I don't use one email account on all web wallets. Because rule nine (9) is so ambiguous, the casino could use this as a FU clause.

40. You shall verify you account balance before betting. When you have verified and accepted your account balance, you agree that all previous transactions are correct and that you do not have any claims against 7Red.com in connections with bets or winnings. Any claims or disputes must be settled before making any further betting and within THREE (3) days from the date of the bet in dispute.

The Fair Gambling & Security link is broken when using FireFox. In IE it works and states this:

Our software carries an official Certification of RNG Evaluation conducted by Technical System Testing (TST) and has been issued an Associate Certificate by the Alderney Gambling Control Commission.

Where is that certificate? Why is it not being display on site?

"fully licensed to operate in Costa Rica" (their words, not mine).

Again I have to ask why bother!

Cheers

:)

I am not trying to pick fights or anything, but I think it is important that players and affiliates have a better idea about who they are dealing with.

Make of this information whatever you will.

From 7Red terms:
www dot 7red dot com/terms.jsp

15. You are not a permanent resident or citizen of Belize or Costa Rica.

28. ... All financial transactions are processed through our E-cash subsidiary, Megaten Ltd, #258 Camden Road, London, United Kingdom NW1 9AB

38. Termination by User or Tisona Inc. as above shall be without prejudice to recovery by either party of any amount legally due by the other party in virtue of this Agreement.

39. This Agreement, the interpretation and execution thereof, and the relationship between the parties, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of Belize.

43. Any claim or dispute arising either directly or indirectly out of this Agreement shall be brought before the competent court of the country of Belize, which court shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

So is it Costa Rica? Or Belize? Neither is a recognised gambling jurisdiction that offers players or affiliates any form of protection or support.

Google Maps street view of 258 Camden Road London

hmmmm....

I looked up Tisona on Casino City and only find Tisona Ltd with a casino called "ItsReal Vegas". Maybe they are related. Well what do you know, ItsReal Vegas redirects to 7RedLive.com. I'll make the logical assumption that they are related based on the domain names.

From 7RedLive about us page:
www dot 7redlive dot com/about.asp

7RedLive is one of the leading Casinos on the Internet

Established, licensed, and fully operational since January 2000,Superb Ltd. Corporation is one of the world's largest and most respected gaming establishments with a solid reputation of integrity and professionalism.

7RedLive has safely and securely taken in millions of wagers made by over 30,000 customers. 7RedLive has rapidly become one of the most trusted and respected names in the online gaming industry.

7RedLive is operated by Superb Ltd,
under a licencse granted by Regulatory Board Costa Rica

registered Office:
59 Front Street
County Durham, DH8 7SE
UK

Note that Costa Rica has no "regulatory board".

I really don't know what to say other than I certainly won't be endorsing any casino owned by these guys.

I did a quick company search on Superb Ltd - the registered office showing at Companies House is 74 Princess Street, Burntwood, Staffs. It has been in existence since 1999, but is actually a Chinese takeaway called Superb Chinese Takeaway and appears to have no connection whatsoever to online gambling.

I personally have been talking with 7Red for a few weeks now about the terms( the AGD team has decided that no matter what after a period of time if an affiliate program is not making changes we have to get a warning out asap to affiliates) and I know they have been working on them. We have not had 1 single player complain about the casino they have been very happy so far. I am personally looking to replace a few deadbeat casinos with a new potential software. Yes they are new and they have many things to fix but I am going to be by their side and advise them on good things to improve the casino, affiliate program etc. We need something to give the USA players that is half way decent imo so I am not going to count these guys out yet :)

These are my personal thoughts I am in no way saying for anyone to jump on the marketing bandwagon. Edited to say I can understand a program being careful who they work with since we all know there are some really bad apples out there.

Is there any new info on these guys? Perhaps someone met with them in Budapest that can share their thoughts?

any info is much appreciated

I was wondering if players and affiliates are getting paid on time and why I never see any posted testimonials?

I understand there is wire but I would prefer QT. Also EwalletXpress was in the works. Is it now an option?

We are working on EwalletXpress. It will be an option soon.

Players and affiliates are being paid on time. I wish I had a way to show you that...
