32Red / Kindred is already rogue here, and they reaffirmed their rogue status today.

They closed my account and stole all of the players I sent to 32Red and Roxy Palace over the last decade.

Here's the email I received:

Dear David,

This notice is in relation to Affiliate ID: xxxxx

On 21st March 2018, we contacted you via this email address notifying you about changes to our affiliate program Terms & Conditions. One of the changes made was the addition of the clause below:

13.2. The Company may terminate this Agreement immediately by written notice if:
5. If the Affiliate does not generate any New Depositing Customers for a period of 6 months, except in markets where affiliate activity is restricted (e.g. Netherlands)

During the period of 14th August 2018 - 14th February 2019, your affiliate account highlighted above has delivered 0 NDPs to our program.

As such and in accordance with our program Terms & Conditions, we are now terminating our affiliate partnership on 15/02/2019. If you have an under limit commission balance, or have earnt any commission between 1st February - 15th February, this will be paid as part of next month’s commission process and you should expect to receive these funds towards the end of March 2019.

Kind Regards,
Your Kindred Affiliates Team

If you still promote these thieves, good luck to you.

I cross-posted this at CM, since 32Red is listed as the #1 Accredited casino there. I will be pleasantly surprised if he does anything about it, though. He did nothing about this last year when Kindred/32Red first began screwing their affiliates, and he recently gave rogue Videoslots a "best casino" award. We live in Bizarro World these days.

Which affiliate would drop his #1 when rogue actions of programs hit some colleagues?

I guess we can count them on the fingers of a hand.

Also, all big affiliate websites have their preferences.

I posted an update in the thread at CM this morning, which I will summarize here.

Basically, I'm shit out of luck.

Ryan Henderson from Kindred Affiliates went out of his way to close my remaining affiliate account this morning, even though it currently has active players in it.

I truly sympathize with your loss, Dave (that extends to any affiliate shafted by Kindred).

I'm not taking side here, but there have been other issues over the years, where, lets say programs have been caught shaving players, and yourself including other affiliates, not only continue to promote said programs BUT rallied to support them.

I haven't raised this fact to get into a shit-storm with you, or anyone else.

Instead, I'm merely pointing out the common thread which seems indicative to affiliates/advertisers when stuff like this happens. That is, if it doesn't affect one's current commission/revenue, then more often than not, it's a non issue.

It's the sole reason why affiliate unions etc., have always failed. Unless every affiliate/advertiser is being shafted, the rogue program will continue to have people promoting them.

That's the whole point.

People won't drop a brand that is generating a significant part of their income. I am not saying every affiliate works exactly the same, but in the end, we all have economic interests. No matter if your website is called CM or NoDepositFreeBieOffers.Biz.

I also doubt if many people really care about getting shafted. Many just look at the amount of money they receive. If it's good then it's good. If not, then the next program.

Kindred closed my account as well due to "inactivity", but I had players still playing and the reason why I stopped promoting them was because they stopped offering some payment methods towards players that my site was about.

Leeches!

I completely agree with Biti, who would drop their number 1 earner because someone else says they're rogue!? Personally I wouldn't because I'd be bankrupt and I'm not afraid to say I wouldn't drop them. What gets me is the affiliates who say we should all stop promoting this program and that program because they got shafted, but then when their number 1 program shafts others they say it's fine and it's some quite vocal affiliates who say and do this. So affiliates should either speak up and pull everyone that's rogue or just leave the rest of us to work with who we like.

For me, it is all about being informed of which programs are rogue, shaving etc etc. I love warnings like these because if I am not currently working with that program, there is no chance in hell I will work with them in the future. It is all about trying to get back to the program that screwed you in the first place.

I am constantly launching new projects and always looking for new partners.

I'm really sorry to hear that, especially since you've been promoting those lowlifes for over 10 years. I understand the disappointment and anger you must be feeling. Interesting how they had such an excellent reputation many years ago, but like so many other sponsors, they eventually turned on their affiliates to steal whatever they can. If history has taught us anything, it's the fact that programs that turn on their affiliates will eventually financially struggle or close down. Just take a look at cpays, europartners, affiliate edge and many more.

The problem is that Kindred is a publicly listed company. They are not closing down anytime soon. They are just greedy and wants to give their shareholders some $$$ even if that requires them to betray their affiliates.

We are having the same issue logging in, there are also lots of people saying the same on GPWA. I'm assuming there is just a technical issue.

I admire your optimism but I don't think that reflects reality. Cpays are still around (Affiliates United or whatever they are called this year), so are EuroPartners and Affiliate Edge. Bwin keep chugging along spending millions on mainstream advertising, so do Sky, Paddy, Ladbrokes and many others.

Most of these have one thing in common - they use affiliates to grow to a certain size where it becomes financially advantageous to just cut them off. They don't care about legal action because no affiliate has ever successfully done anything about it.

I was one of you as well. They closed my account cause of inactivity, but there were active players too. Also they owed me more than €2k in commisions, I tried to negotiate, but did not get any response. I went to their stand at LAC and made a complain with responsible person. Now the rest of the ballance was paid and account is open again. But I see no activity, hope all players were not moved to trash or untagged since account was dead for more than two months :(

Reiterating, I'm sorry to see folks who I know have promoted 32Red et al for years, some from way back to 2002 when 32Red opened, getting treated like sh#t stuck to a shoe.

A couple of weeks back I was informed by a program I've worked with for well over a decade, that their now charging a consumption tax.

Thing is, I'm not on Rev Share, I'm on their wagering-model. I am paid a small % of what players wager each month. Other than a chargeback, no other deductions are removed from my commission calculations. Or should I say, never were.

So this tax should NOT be levied against me. 5.25% fee is charged to affiliates on RS. However, on my Wagering-Model, the 15% tax (total) ends up being 33%+ hit against my monthly commission.

Trying to explain (appeal) to their the logic; more to the point non-logic, seems like I'm going around in circles.

Point to all this... Don't know if it's the aftershock of covid-19, or if some programs are just turning more and more greedy, but I fear we will start hearing about more folks getting bent-over and f#cked harder, over the coming months.

Seems the only solution to combat these licensed and regulated casinos/programs shafting us, is to either drop them completely, or heavily reduce their site exposure. Working with grey-market (trusted) programs, seems to highly lessen the risk of being shafted.

I've heard terrible things about Kindred, it's a shame because they have some good brands.

Hm, maybe it's time to focus more on the grey market casinos. I too currently have better experience with them. The licensed casinos are getting f****d by regulations and are now in turn trying to f**k us. No thank you.
