Teddy Sagi served jail time for stock market fraud FFS.

Did that take place in Canada? If not must be thinking of yet another casino manager/owner who was banned for insider trading, for life in Canada.

This industry sure attracts some pristine individuals

Maybe thinking of:
Though he was never charged, Ayre settled in 1996 for a $10,000 fine and a 20-year prohibition from running a company listed on the Vancouver Exchange.

WH would be better to shut shop in Israel, move things to Gibraltar or wherever they are headquartered and employ some new staff that don't have this cpays stigma attached.
So now that they did just that, is anyone giving them a shot?

They parted company with all the old Cpays staff, which is fantastic. Brilliant that they were sacked. But nothing else has changed. The same affiliate software is still poor and they are in the same offices in Israel. I was their biggest critic. However, it is a slightly intangible thing, but I do think the rotten apples have gone (beware rest of the world) and they are left with a good honest team who try really hard for affiliates. I have been impressed with the way the current head of affiliates (DB) has dealt with what was a hard time. I hope he does not leave. They seem to have stopped all the second-hand car dealer type pushiness. All the crap seemed to walk out the door with the Cpays bunch. So we are now giving them a go, slowly but surely. I am sure they will move to proper affiliate software when the time is right for them, hopefully income access or netrefer, so we all know the system can be trusted.

Was this after the walkout / stats debacle? Wasn't sure if something else had happened since.

I know they have been asking me several times to work with them indicating they are no longer involved with CPAYs and everything will be fine... ect.... but I still feel very unsafe with them.

They wanted prime location on my important sites and could not offer me a fair deal so I decided not to work with them.

They do convert well - really well but its still risky business - I would suggest anyone get prepayment for a minimum 3 months time just in case.....

They offered me 1 month and I said forget it. They low balled me :)..

I know what you mean, something about them just makes me uneasy.

Well in my case I was robbed by Cpays about 4-5 years ago... maybe a little less then that... As i recall I hounded them over and over non stop daily sending like 100s and 100s of emails... over the course of a year or so and they finally paid me.

They are like Europartners - they hold you Hostage when they owe you money. Never ever allow companies like this to owe you money - they use it against you and turn you into a slave for them..

Cpays and Europartners invented this style and perfected it!!!!

As for William Hill direct - I would like to say i think they are different - and i know the old Cpays staff are gone - but who really knows for sure. Cpays was so connected and used bribes, and all kinds of things... maybe they still hold some power.

Whatever the case - for me personally i will need a healthy buffer to consider working with them.

I have just dumped them - for the second time.
When they were on Crypto I did OK with them - but since they switched to Playtech they say I converted not ONE depositing player. I gave them a second chance - same result.
IMPO something is just not right there and it's not worth the risk.

The constant badgering for more exposure, the threats to cancel your deal if you don't comply, not to mention the shaving, spamming, competing portals, blackhat SEO etc. You name it, these guys are into it up to their necks.

Couldn't agree more - I must have written half a dozen emails to Aff Utd, explaining exactly why I won't be promoting them (pretty much the reasons mentioned above), but it makes no difference at all. I can pretty much guarantee that at least once a week I'll get an email from some AM there asking for exposure. I've given up writing back now and just set up a rule to redirect all their emails to my junk folder.

You bring a new player, you own him. That player, regardless if he signs up using your aff-link, some other aff-link or no aff-link at all, will be tracked to you!

How?
Please can you give more details - this could be VERY important information for other affiliates.

KK

Hey KK,
Well I'm waiting for a reply from my affiliate manager. Could be a malfunction in the stats.
But it sure feels fishy.. I have 1 recent sign up, 2 brands show + revenue, 1 brand over 3k negative :O
Will report back once I hear from him.

And doggystyle, well it's hard to explain this without going into details or showing screen shots. But the only way this would make sense is if the sign up I acquired gets tracked to me accross multiple brands. Kinda the opposite of cross-promotion lol.

Turns out the stats are/were not working correctly. Yesterday I checked the advanced stats again, and now they are showing the correct number of signups for the past month. Also had 3 signups this month. I have checked the standard stats, which show the past 7 days, every few days this month and had only seen 1 in there. So they are still faulty..
7.8k player withdrawals now.. ahum.. what's the opposite of a whale ? :D
