Everyone talks about payout speed and size after the fact, but we're curious about the signals people read before sending real volume anywhere new.
Is it how specific the manager gets when you ask about terms (vs. vague "we'll sort it out")? Whether they mention their own hold periods and validation rules unprompted? How they talk about disputes from other affiliates – defensive vs. matter-of-fact? Or is it something totally unrelated to conversations, like how long the program's been around or what people say about them elsewhere?
Genuinely curious what's on people's mental checklist here, since it seems like everyone's got a different early-warning system for "this one's fine" vs "this one's gonna be a problem."
