For those of you who missed the interview with the CEO of VideoSlots.com (******* *******), it's well worth reading. It certainly highlights his contempt for affiliates, even though, VS affiliates are the sole reason VS are so BIG today.... I personally like this quote, from A**** - he's such a douche bag:

Affiliates do a really good job, but they take all the profits

Edit:

Not to be seen as hogging the thread, thought I'd post another WELL WORTH reading thread from way back in 2012. This time, between myself and Lucas, the then, AM for Video Slots.

He refused to answer my direct questions (M**** and Co did the same), then refused to respond to anymore of my questions, by calling me RUDE, and believe he also included, unprofessional, too.

How is asking a program, who claims to be 100% transparent, for the true answers, for valid questions, how is asking for the TRUTH being RUDE and unprofessional o_O

casinoaffiliateprograms.com/bb/48441-videoslots-com-launch-mobile-simple-safe-and-fun.html | Oh... all this started because Lucas/VideoSlots were boasting a 60% RevShare, to new aff signups.

Take this opportunity of Affiliating with us with our Latest Affiliate Offer which is:
60% Rev Share As Long As You Want

I mean really... 60%..lol... 100% BS!

L*** only got pissy, because he'd struck an affiliate who, could see thru, the 60% Video Slots RS scam.

Ridiculous.

If you need, i can surely redirect my VS link to yours. I do not promote them but have some old pages which generate 1/2 ftds per month earning me nice 5.5% of netgaming :)
I might be in the same position. Could I get some help? :/ I don't mind paying is collected.

I got the same problem with Videoslots. They don't pay an amount of 40k commission. I don't promote them anymore, because of their insane fees and also because they pulled out from some markets where I promoted them.

Hi everyone. Wanted to chime in and share that Videoslots has also refused to pay my commission this month. I delivered a very profitable player to them a couple years ago and the player returned after an absence and generated 4 figure income for VS (in just 2 days). According to my dashboard I am entitled to about 17% Gross revenue which is quite high for an affiliate on the 25% plan. I waited all June for my May commissions but nothing came, not even an email stating that my payment was "disapproved". I tried emailing affiliate manager but there was no response. I sent in a generic email through the dashboard and after a few days I finally heard back. They told me that I hadn't referred enough new players. I find this a bit confusing since I signed up long before they introduced quotas.

I see in a thread over at CasinoMeister (https://www.casinomeister.com/forums/threads/videoslots-non-payment-of-january-2021-commission.94408/) that another affiliate was given an exception to the rule and received their due commissions. I asked for the same courtesy but haven't received a reply yet. The terms and conditions state that VS "reserves the right...to reduce/change the Reward Plan if... the Affiliate does not generate a minimum of 6 New Depositing Customers in a period of 3 months". It does NOT say that earned commissions will be confiscated!!! If they "reserve the right" that means they can selectively enforce the rules. That appears to be the case here.

In the email reply I received I was told "When you send us players again we are going to start paying out earnings. Good luck".

I have to be honest, after this experience I am not very excited to promote a brand that chooses when they will pay affiliates their earned money. Luck is what you need in the casino hoping for a win. It is NOT what affiliates need to receive money they earned by enrolling in the affiliate program.

My website is currently offline as I am working on an entirely new design. I had plans to heavily promote VS despite the negative press about them seen here, at GPWA, and other highly respected sites. Now I am being punished for not bringing in new traffic. Do they honestly believe that confiscating our earnings is going to motivate us?

Seriously?

Have other affiliates had any success with this or is it time abandon them and move on to more reputable brands?

For smaller affiliates like me that are just getting started the last thing I need to be worried about is fulfilling arbitrary quotas.

With the new Malta rules allowing it VS are now setting their RTPs to below 90% and players are noticing.

I'm speculating but it's looking likely to be an exit scam to me. Inflate the profitability numbers in the short term by cutting off affiliate commissions and ripping off players, then sell the business to some sucker who relies on the gamed valuation and who has to deal with the fallout once enough customers realise and the numbers start dropping. My guess is they won't be around much longer in their current incarnation.

This is quite bad. They literally hold earnings at ransom, forcing affiliates to keep sending players to a program they have already lost all trust in - for good reasons I should add. Instead, they should be working on gaining that trust again, but no, actually does seem like they've made an active decision to go rogue.

Don't know for how truth is that, but around a year ago when VS dropped aff commission down and RTP's on some games, I've seen someone dropped info on Telegram private chats that VS owner pumped a ton of money into some business in Macao...
I'll see if I can find it and share it here.

Yes... if you can find any.

In an ever-declining industry, I can't see anyone except the massive affiliate companies continuing to get a fair deal from any of the big EU licenced operators.
I've been ripped off more times than I can remember. Nails in coffins and all that... :(

Luckily for me, I am rapidly heading towards retirement. But I do feel sorry for any "small-time" affiliates trying to make a living from this once amazing business these days.

Good luck!

Thanks everyone for your input! I guess VS can't be all bad since one of you still advertise them right at the top of your home page :)

I got my reply this morning and my request to be paid was denied again. This confirms that they are applying their rules when/if they feel like it. The affiliate manager has asked what they can do to motivate me to send them more players....

.......really??????

When I signed up my affiliate manager was Miles and he was great - we previously worked together under Red Returns (2 casino brands I definitely miss as a player). I should have followed his lead when he left for greener pastures.

VS has just lost a long time player and affiliate. I won't promote a brand that abuses their own affiliates. Affiliates are supposed to be partners, not work horses that only get a benefit for their efforts when and if the casino feels like it thanks to ever-changing rules and admin fees.

I do want to give a shout out to Roulette Zeitung and AussieDave as they have been warning affiliates about this for a long time.

Update:
Yesterday I responded to the affiliate manager who asked what they could do to motivate me to send more players. I said that if my commissions cannot be paid it would be best for me to focus on other brands.

This morning I received an update that my commissions for May will now be paid by the end of the month and VS hopes we can work together again in the future.

I haven't decided whether to get back on board with VS. In the end they did the right thing but that's how it should have been all along. I may reconsider VS once my site is more established and I have enough traffic that I don't need to worry about quotas.

And who knows which customers they may try send to their new sister casino Mr. Vegas without compensation to the original affiliate. I can't see any reason for a company to have multiple brands with identical offerings unless it is to shave off affiliates from their original brand.

I will post again if/when the May payment comes through.

So... who called it? ;)

Update: My May commission payment was just disapproved once again. And just like last month I received no email or explanation as to why.

I have reached out to Videoslots again.
