I have just received the following email from Videoslots. So they don´t even want to pay their 1% rev share for German players.


"Dear Affiliate,

Due to the new regulations in Germany, ‘Revenue Share’ deals are no longer applicable starting from 1st of July. This includes both new players and legacy players.

The German regulator has made any commission payments based on player revenues illegal; we are therefore forced to work exclusively on a CPA basis with our affiliate partners.

So it changes suddenly in regard to the german regulations and you must take more and more programs from your lists that follow these rules.

It's not just VS but some other big companies as well.

Should they all be happy with their decisions.

Sooner or later they will notice at their declined profits.

Some casinos have already been closed or withdrawn from german market.

There's really no point in pushing DE licensed brands at all in my opinion. I just use geotargeting to hide Videoslots and other licensed brands to push offshore brands instead. Why on earth would you want your players to play at licensed casinos that skin them with 91% RTP when there are incredibly good offshore options with much better perks and benefits. The German regulations are ridiculous beyond belief.

The German regulations are ridiculous beyond belief.

Seems the German regulators et al, are trying to achieve what the UKGC has been unable to do, that is: ruin the UK online gambling market. The German regulations are beyond ridiculous. I'm sure this will kill the prospects of operators sooner that later.
