I know this is not an ideal solution and some will see it as rewarding thieves but some of you guys are missing out on serious dough. Why not run a short PPC campaign till you get the 5 players needed and then cut it off? Like I said it is no way ideal but it would make sure at least you get your fair share of what you should be getting?

They need 5 new DEPOSITING players every month...
Realistically, how many affiliates can deliver that?
There is no way I could EVER do that.

And what happens when you only get 4 one month...?
And what happens when they suddenly say you need to bring in 10 NDP's per month?
And what do you do when they suddenly decide "Screw you - we're keeping all your players and not paying you a penny more - you've earned enough"?

Applying these terms for NEW affiliates is fine - but they should never be forgiven for shafting existing affiliates who worked bloody hard for YEARS to bring them good value players on the basis of the terms agreed at sign-up.
They are low-life thieving scum for the stunt they pulled

Here's my logic, yes I could guarantee the 6 a month every month no problem BUT and this is a HUGE BUT what happens if they decide they need 25 new FTD's a month and so on.

I don't trust these guys and am happy to cut my losses, or not so happy but know long term I'll be better off and won't be shafted ever again!

There loss.

Wow, just got a mail from William Hill that they would like to work together and what kind of deal I would like. So I dropped the 5% rule right in their lap to see how they will react. I feel sorry for you guys that you are in this situation but thanks to you mentioning it here it will prevent me from getting screwed too.

Another month - and my player deposits are slowly going down, thank god!

For July, "only" £1,386 deposited.
Sky Thieves net profit = £324

My reward for sending 100's of depositing players over the last 8 years = £16 - yes SIXTEEN QUID!

I hope these scumbags sleep well at night...
No, actually I hope these scumbags have terrible nightmares every night - just like I do every time I look at my stats...

fully understand, that's why I said maybe do a small PPC. get 5 depositors at the beginning of the month then cut it off till the next month. Only an idea, personally not sure what I'd done if i was effected. One thing is for sure though, Im still waiting for people to actually try and take them to court like they keep saying, especially on the other forum, even offered to help legal fees as did another affiliate and nothing happened

Got an answer from William Hill on my question wether they still uphold the 5% rule and they say it is necessary because they also see affiliates not holding up their end of the deal. Fair enough, but not convincing for me. No William Hill deal for me....

Did they say what that "end of the deal" was? I'm guessing not.

The things is, when a program states it will pay YOU (lets say 25%) life-time-revenue for ALL depositing players you refer, then that's exactly what a program MUST do. Affiliates can't be expect to keep a program on their site, if that program, is not performing. It's simple business 101.

However if the players they referred are still depositing, still making money for Will Hill, then they must continue to pay commission to affiliates, whether or not they are still promoting them. BUT Will Hill and some other programs, are IMHO crooks.

They'll use retroactively change T&C's, to demand player quotas, then use these as an excuse to steal rightful earnings. Sad but true!
