Taxes on gaming revenue by Swedish and Estonian gambling authorities

We have received this email:

Dear Affiliate,

As you know, both Swedish and Estonian gambling authorities are imposing taxes on gaming revenue as a part of the gambling license.

So far, we have fully absorbed these taxes for your players. However, this is no longer sustainable for us going forward and have taken the decision to share these costs with our affiliates in order to create a sustainable program and relationship with you.

Note that this will only apply to revenue share & hybrid deals and will not affect CPA deals.

We will calculate the tax deduction on a player level and you will be able to see this on the tax column in the reports available in the affiliate system at https://login.affiliates.globalgaming.com/signin.php

Please find the new tax rates below:

Finland & Estonia: 5% on Gross Gaming Revenue

Sweden: 18% on Gross Gaming Revenue

Tax will start being deducted from 1st of June 2019.
