Hello everybody,

I am Ivona representing Casino Guru and would like to warn all affiliates and players about the Rank Affiliates and their unfair practices.
The communication with them was normal until we sent them a high roller who made us in October a commission in amount of app. £10,000.
Suddenly, our affiliate account got suspended without any warning and possibility to withdraw our commission. We have approached the Rank Affiliates managers several times asking them for explanation and tried to solve this issue. However, they have ignored us completely since then. No reply, no money.
Affiliates, be aware of this unpleasant experience we have had and do not let them steal your commission like they are trying to steal ours. Kind Regards,
Ivona - Casino Guru representative

@Ivona - casino.guru, agree it sucks when a program screws you over. But it also sucks, when, a casino screws over players. I see your promoting some proven "rogue" casinos.

Cool Cat is one of them. They've stolen millions of dollars of legitimate player winnings.

I'm sure those players, felt exactly the same as you do, with not being paid your £10,000. You might like to ponder that for a while, and then reevaluate the casinos your promoting.

Playing devils advocate a little here but I've promoted Rank for many, many years without a single issue. I'm sure there is more to this than meets the eye, or hopefully it can be resolved.

Good luck with it.

I had also a look at your website and totally agree with Dave. I noticed you tried very hard with your content but can you explain why you especially point to state Nordrhein-Westfalen ?

Hi AussieDave,

Regarding brands we promote, we're doing comprehensive research regarding all brands on our website. Result of which is our reputation rating. It takes into account for example relevant complaints, size of casino, T&C, withdrawal and win limits, and other stuff. We don't give exposure to casinos with bad rating. So we aren't really promoting rogue casinos.

Sorry but it seems you don't research really. How Dave mentioned Cool Cat is one of them and already a very long time. There are also some other brands listed, so i can't agree with your statement 100%. But it's your decision what you offer or recommend.

Hi,
Please note that we distinguish individual states within the USA and Germany from legislative reasons.

Which other brands do you have in mind?
Regarding Cool Cat, 95% of complains against them are because of slow payments, which is general problem in US market. We also checked the complaints with them and for most of them, we saw in person the proof that it was solved. That's why we gave them good reputation rating. Here is the part from our review where we explain this :
Since this whole group shares blacklists for delayed payments or non-payment among various websites, and thanks to the fact that we acquired proof indicating that they are paying out money to their customers in the end, we decided to put up just one blacklist for this behaviour. We also don't consider them to be a rogue group because of this.
If you have any problems with this group, please, let us know and we will try our best to mediate the problem.
This is an official statement of our reputation dpt.

This is not an explanation why you mention Nordrhein-Westfalen of all places. If you would write Schleswig-Holstein it would be okay, because on all other states we have the same regulations and legislative.

@Ivona - casino.guru, thanks for at least responding. FYI, I was an affiliate way back when the Virtual Casino Group first commenced its operation (circa 2001). Hence, I'm well versed in the "rogue" behavior of Cool Cat Casino, and the plethora of other clip-joints under their control. I'm not going to bother arguing the point with you.

All I will say is:
Affiliates who care about their referred players, wouldn't touch Cool Cat with a barge pole.

Unfortunately this is a story I have experienced myself time and time again over the years :(
The "Big Boys" just think they can do whatever the hell they like to their affiliates (especially the small-time guys like me) - they honestly could not care less about us.

I hope you get your money... but I won't be holding my breath.

How did the casino provide proof of payment? Only a rogue casino would share confidential player payment information to a third party in my opinion.
Hi,
We are currently sending the Power of Attorney to players in case we need to see their personal data. This method is entirely legal according to our lawyers. As for the old complaints, we were not provided with any personal information, but we visited this group directly in their office where we showed them most serious complaints. They were able to show us a record of a payment in the database. We understand that this is not a 100% guarantee, but it was just a one part of the overall picture based on which we decided to trust them. For example, Casinomeister gave them a chance in 2016, when they announced that they have solved all complaints (historically too) and offered the possibility (that we offer too) to help with solving the complaints they have. However, they got into a rogue group because of the delayed payments when they migrated from Costa Rica to Czech Republic. There was a new wave of delayed payments and for about half a year they failed to effectively solve complaints within the 3rd party mediators - but after this period they are doing fine. As we have a reason to believe that almost all delayed payments have been paid off, we do not have any relevant information to disqualify this group.
Therefore we would like to ask anyone who has such information regarding this or any other casino group that has a good rating with us to provide it through this forum or via email to reputation team. If we evaluate these pieces of information as relevant, we will certainly take it into account when it comes to reputation rating.

We have reached out to the affiliate several times in attempt to better understand their marketing activity, but didn't get a response.
