Terms are friendly for all brands except Bodog:

The commission structure is performance-based and drops to 10%

BODOG 1-10,000 25% 10,000-40,000 30% 40k+ 40% 50k+ Casino Only 45% Less then 3 RMP(real money players) 10%

Just received this email:

  • Revenue Share Scheme:
    • In the event that an Affiliate delivers fewer than 3 new real money depositors in any 6 month period, Revenue Network may, at its sole discretion, drop that Affiliate’s Revenue Share Commission to 10% until the Affiliate is able to deliver 3 new real money depositors.

I promote Bovada, not Bodog. I have sent over 160+ players in the last 15 years. They never pulled this on me before. How convenient, they go on and say I have 90 days to comply of on Sept 1st (NFL Season) they will drop me to 10%. Right out of the BetOnline Playbook. I never thought I would see the day when my second affiliate of all time Bodog would do this to a long-time affiliate.

Any response or ideas from AGD? What can the AGD Administration do about this? They are "Certified".

seriously, I work with both Revenue Network (Bovada, Bodog) and Commission Kings (BetOnline) - both have identical terms, yet one is certified and other is rogue

lol?

AFAIK, this 3 RMP clause has been active for many years, on ALL brands, not just Bodog.

No, not all brands. I don't have one that's up that has that clause. BetOnline did they put me back to %25 if I would return them on my site. Which I did. I'm just surprised that AGD has not weighted in on it. They are "Certified".

I thought it was obvious, but clearly not.

I meant "ALL Revenue Network/Betting Partners brands".

Apparently, Revenue Network pays more!

Where are we going for AGD, summer vacation?

Revenue Network and Commission Kings are pretty much the best brands available in many markets. Excluding them would utterly destroy the business of so many affiliates, myself included.

I would simply retire if they became unusable, as there is no alternative.

Unfortunately this puts them in a position of power.

I do not think their terms are terrible though. But I do think affiliates should always strive to negotiate FIXED percentage deals, regardless of player volume, to account for the ups and downs of the industry.

I mean, if we didn't do that, sometimes, during the summer months which are super slow, we would probably not meet the requirements for top tier pay at one or two brands. That would be like setting money on fire!

TLDR; Always negotiate a fixed revenue share deal.

The problem is they always have a term that they can change the T&C whenever they want.
That alone with a high turnover of AFF. managers ensure they can switch and change as they want. I, falsely assumed being a long-term affiliate they would have some leniency. I guess not.

I am still surprised that AGD , has failed, to this point. Made a statement on this. They are "Certified". Another program did the same thing and they went right to the rogue folder.

Maybe, @Bonusstreak , can look into this for us.

Does any company NOT have this? I mean... *I* have this in my T&C lol.

Even non-gambling stuff always has this. Your local grocery store has this, the sweepstakes you get in the mail has this, everywhere!

Exactly, that's why your statement of:

"But I do think affiliates should always strive to negotiate FIXED percentage deals, regardless of player volume, to account for the ups and downs of the industry."

Won't fly they will change it how they see fit at a later date.

Well, if anyone fucks me, I fuck back and do everything in my power to ruin their search results and business.

But hey, this is the gambling business... people fuck people over. It is like Wall Street in that regard.

EVERYTHING in LIFE is renegotiable at a later date, that is just how it works. Humans are duplicitous and corporations doubly so.

The contracts are worthless no matter what, suing the entities is not economical, or in most cases even possible.

Reputation is what matters, and smart firms protect it, regardless of cost.
