How is everyone doing with Affactive lately?
Things are pretty grim on my end.
I threw them up as a test a couple of months ago. 5 days before EOM. Made $100 and aquired 10 sign-ups. Thinking that was pretty good, I pushed them for another 2 months and got nothing..
I ended up yanking them - pity cause the start seemed like a winner.
Who do you push now Aussie?
Anyone else want to chime in on how Affactive is going for them.
Affactive are doing okay in comparison to the other casinos. Main Street seems to be doing better. Not sure though, I think things have slowed down in general for most USA affiliate programs. Its not the best time to be an affiliate right now sadly, not like it was a few years ago.
Affactive has been fine but seems like their processing hasn't been as good for the last couple weeks.
My experience is different, kdollar. I haven't sent them any traffic so far this month, but I've acquired two new players. So either they are going all out to get sign ups to deposit or their processing has got better...or both.
Hopefully both. I'll be PM'ing Daniel tomorrow to find out as this is a good sign as far as I'm concerned.
Overall, though, they convert fairly well but the player values and retention have both been pretty low.
I get players, but player retention does not exist. For example, Win Palace has a 300% up to 3,000 USD slots bonus. I get a player who deposits, let's say, 200 USD, plays, and never comes back. Many of us know that certain players go from casino to casino, claim the bonus, play, and constantly move on with no intentions of ever coming back to the same casino.
In addition, some affiliates do better with one affiliate probram than others. The solution here is to constantly experiment.
I'm down over 50% in deposits for ytd this year compared to
march thru oct of last year when I first added them.
ytd this year I have exactly twice as many players as I did in the march thru oct period of last year.
not to mention the $7k+ in cb's this year as well.
One more big cb and its sayonara.
I totally agree.
However experimenting with trustworthy programs is the key.
Promoting rogues or less that reputable venues always comes back to bite affiliates in the back-side!
Edit: Just so everyone is clear, my rogue comment is not aimed at Affactive (didn't realise I was in their forum).
We had a couple of sign ups with Affactive but conversions have not been that good. We'll keep on pressing them hopefully things will pick up.
I did really quite well with them in the first 12 months of promoting (Oct'09 to Sep'10), but in the next 12 months (i.e. up to last month) my income has dropped to just 19% of that first year.
To be fair, a part of the reason for that is player(s) winning big at Mayflower and wiping out all my income in a couple of months, but overall my Win Palace earnings plummeted too, so it was not great anyway.
I had a player take them down for 150K this past week and has stopped playing, looks like they mean to keep it. OUCH!
whats the weekly/monthly cash out limits?
imagine if there was an nco.
I apologize it took me time to respond. I’ll use this thread to make few updates.
First, regarding the results:
We expect to continue to grow in October, same as we did in each of the previous 6 months. Regarding specific campaigns that we haven’t spoken about before with you directly, we’ll review the campaigns and contact you and see how we can improve the results.
A couple additional updates:
• We have expanded our team with 2 new affiliate managers: Clara and Jennifer. They will help us improve our service and give more personal attention to each and every campaign.
• In the next few days, you will receive an email asking you to update your links. The new domains are located on better and faster servers, thus improve the overall results. Please make the updates as soon as possible.
As always, we are very happy to field any questions, comments or suggestions that you may have. Please feel free to send them to your personal account manager, PM me or post them here. In all events, we will continue to look into them and look for additional ways to improve.
Sorry I must have missed that email ;D
Can you give me a run down on what's happening, please?
We are updating the URLs of our brands.
(the email will be sent today or tomorrow)
The old ones will remain active for some time to assure a smooth update.
I compared jan to aug for 3 years.
Just looking at Winpalace I pick up 1 more new player in 2012 than 2011 and 5 more than 2010 yet deposits are down significantly.
With 4 more new players in 2011 than 2010 deposits dropped about 45.49%. In 2012 I pick up 1 more player than 2011 and 5 more than 2010 but deposits are down 84.6% from 2010 and 71.8 from 2011.
Joins increased each year, 86 in 2010, 170 in 2011 and 241 in 2012.
How is everyone else doing?
