Yep, people need to learn and avoid these guys and let's make their affiliate part of the business redundant. Then in a few years they'll be crying that they're losing market share, which they already are. Kindred is a dinosaur. Would not be surprised it it's swallowed up by another company or ceases to exist in the next 3 years

Scamming activities well documented, including here https://www.affiliateguarddog.com/c...liates-predatory-terms.258/page-4#post-131273

AGD should reconsider their classification of Kindred. They have broken these rules for sure -

Yet Kindred still turn up at the affiliate conferences with a big stand to talk to their massive affiliates like Better Collective

Would love to see the day smaller affiliates who got closed down by companies like this make a stand and protest in front of a company's stand at a conference. Even if it's wearing t-shirts saying "don't join this program" or some sort of way to make it not worth their while turning up at the conference

An affiliate conference costs these companies hundreds of thousands of Euros. Let's make them realise they can't be stealing from the small guys

Things you love to see - Kindred getting shafted in a core market.

Should have looked after those smaller affiliates boys, rather than shutting them down!

When Kindred come looking for new markets, you know what to tell them

theives, stolen my players and close my account.
Sorry to hear that mate :(

They did it to me in August. They must be cutting back on the smaller affiliates in a big way at the moment looking for any excuse. I had been with them for a while too and had assurances that my account was safe. Less than 3 months later they shafted me!

I wish you luck in replacing that lost revenue. Don't throw the towel in because of those scumbags.

Sam here, closed my account and stole years worth of players. Absolute scumbags. All UKGC/DE/NL licensed casinos are going down this route. No point in promoting them.

The amount of players i sent these scammers and they just shut me down and robbed me blind. Without doubt one of the worst I've worked with in 15 years or so in this business. Not to be trusted for a millisecond. Never trusted their stats either. I warn all affiliates i can against promoting them.

Kindred is one of the wordt parties out there. They also, for no specific reason closed my account a while back. I never made a dime with them luckily for me.
But still very bad practice to just close an account and then never respond on any of my emails. Avoid them, blacklist them and hope they dissapear someday.

More things you love to see

These fools at Kindred not only deserted their affiliates and closed them down, but they then realise they can't compete with the big boys in America and are having to raise the white flag and exit from the market with their tails between their legs. 300+ staff layoffs too.

Hope none of those 300 will be contacting me in the future begging for advertising space. They won't get it.

Kindred is a dying brand. They can go back to their European regulated markets and eek out some money there until all of that dies off through taxation, regulation etc in about 5 years, if not sooner. Then where do they go?

This is true and very well said. Unibet are done. They f**ked over their affiliate partners, even bigger ones, and now there is no going back. It's obvious that they are struggling, so I wouldn't be surprised if they only have some 4-5 years left as a brand.

Like you said, now it's back to them trying to make some pennies from the regulated markets, which are s**t these days. They have no real affiliate friends left, they're going to be taxed to death and they probably won't even survive the next fine from the UKGC lol.

Guys, I promise. It's not worth promoting regulated brands like Unibet, Videoslots, Betsson, Casumo, LeoVegas, etc. They are all going to fk you over sooner or later like Unibet and Betsson have done. Any casino with a UKGC license simply isn't worth partnering up with.

I'd go so far as to also include Malta. I'd also put forward....

We need to ALL come together right now. As as unified group, we can fight (push back) against these, at times, absurd "Admin Fees". These GGR deductions are robbing us ALL blind.
  • Do licensing and regulate markets help affiliates? NO.
  • Do these jurisdictions, and the seals they wear, assist players? Hardly ever.
  • Most seem to be tax grabbing, fine issuing, revenue raisers for Governments.
EG - eCOGRA SEAL... It boasts all this BS but when you drill down, thru all the smoke and mirrors, the SEAL is worthless. eCOGRA does NOT stand behind its own SEAL. We've ALL been feed a load of bollocks over the years, by people who have a vested interest in these fairy tales.

Frankly it's time to remove the blinkers. Take a decent long look around to see who is fk'ing US over; not just affiliate programs/operators, and then draw a HUGE line in the sand, saying NO MORE!!!

Affiliates definitely need to start pushing back against these bogus admin fees. They are robbing us blind with them.

What needs to happen is that we move away from revenue share. It's just a license to rob and steal on the operator's behalf.

The best way to push back would be to demand some other revenue model. CPA relies on trust too, but some sort of model where affiliates see the data, it's transparent, and if companies rob they are taken to court. For example, if stealing on CPA, with someone like AGD you could do tests to see if stats were reported correctly. If not, then you take them to court.

Alternatively, we start to demand a monthly fixed fee - a decent one.

Regardless of what remuneration deal your on, unless programs supply ALL the stats to affiliates, they can steal. No program to my knowledge, has ever supplies ALL the stat-data.

If your an affiliate who can charge a listing fee, then your an affiliate a program will likely not risk shaving.

It all comes back down to transparency.

Programs who choose to hide x,y,z are 99.999% of the time doing it for nefarious (crooked) reasons.

Edit:
10+ years ago now but had a feeling Fortunate Lounge Group pulled a swifty on me. So I played my AM at the time into a corner, where, he had no other option but to provide me with, what I thought, were the complete stats for a requested date period. Short of it was, it wasn't until I contacted FL Group's CFO (chief financial officer - who I'd known for years), that he sent my the FULL stats.

Clearly they had stung me.

I have reason to believe Joffery (CFO) had no idea about this swindle, hence, I think two (2) sets of stats were present. Not the first time 2x databases were used by MGS casinos own by the Moshals. The All Slots 2x database scam was brought to light by Lloyd A, the programs sacked (asked too many questions) coordinator. If you knew Lloyd like I do/did, he was straight as an arrow. So if said it stunk, it stinked.

Affiliate is divided into 2 parts, North America and Europe. I have a lot of traffic from the USA. I have never been able to reach an agreement, there are too many absurd demands.

Most USA programs won't work with anyone small, they want players in the thousands. A lot of affiliate programs just ignore contacts now. You wonder why they even pay for the affiliate platforms they run on.
