We received this email:

Hello,

Thanks for being a 400affiliates partner. We have some important information to share with you, so please keep reading.

On October 1, 2019, key members of a long-term, well-respected Rival operation came aboard the 400affiliates business to rebrand and grow the affiliate program and 4 brands it represents. Some big and exciting changes are coming.

Firstly, we will be rebranding the 400affiliates program to AffDynasty very soon. The name comes from combining our long history of running Rival properties with the long history of these brands (first Rival brands). We are truly a Dynasty. We wanted to give you some heads up so you weren't suddenly contacted by a new brand that you had no idea who they are.

Secondly, the brands are revamping the promos offered to players, so we will be rolling out new marketing materials over the coming weeks. Most of the old promos will be expiring on November 1, 2019. Please contact me to discuss custom promos for your players.

Lastly, I want to personally connect with everyone to talk about commission structures and how we can maximize traffic and earnings. We are very hands on and flexible on terms, so let's make a deal.

So... I'll be the first to ask:

  • What happened to all of the commissions from all the players we had? Will that get resolved?
  • Will those players get cross-promoted to and will we be tagged?

I'm sure I had a lot of commissions not paid. I promoted the crap out of the Rival Casinos and especially the 400 Group as they were the first to arrive. I had hundreds of players sign up and play.

So have you got reason to think players were de-tagged, or what?

I also worked with 400 Group from day 1 (2006) - but I never had any reason to think they did anything dodgy.
When they pulled out of the USA in 2011 my income just frittered away and died, but same happened with other brands leaving that market.

Hi,
Players that were tagged to you from before are still there. As everyone knows, players are finicky and if you are not tending to them daily, they will move and play elsewhere. And in BonusStreak and KK case, most of them are from 2011 or before from what we can see.
We will try our best to re-engage players. Older players will be more difficult because of bad emails, etc. We have be careful not to damage the reputation of our mailing programs with too many bounces, so it will take some time.
Going in and out of markets over the years makes it difficult. We had the same issue at our old program but we managed to get some players coming back.
Hoping for the best.
Thanks

As I recall, there was at one casino that was a bit on the sketchy side as far as players and payments were concerned. I think DaVinci, but could have been Cocoa. I bet Bonustreak remembers.. Wish I had a better memory.

I think it was "This is Vegas".
This brand was run separately from the other 3 at one time - and fell into disrepute, even being rogued by CM in 2010 when the other 3 brands were not.
Not 100% certain, but I think our friend John Wright worked at that brand back in the day...

I did reasonably well with the 400 Group until they pulled out of the USA, and got 1,846 real sign-ups, which is a great result for a small aff like myself.
I've told Scott I want him to get them ALL depositing again! :p
(Though in truth, of those 1,846 only 145 actually deposited).
