Buffalo Partners Not getting UK License for any brands

IMO Buffalo partners will not survive another year if they can not afford to pay 15% tax for the UK market.

If only we could get some odds on that, its probably about an even money bet at this point...unless they Wager Share shave shave shave like the good old days.

I don't think the catalyst of these latest developments, has anything to do with the 15% UK gaming tax. This is a big group of MGS casino's here.

2011 saw Betway/GNUF bought our by Spin Palace Group Who also own Spin Palace et al.

The only other MGS Group bigger than this, is Casino Rewards with 29 casinos.

IMO it's a strategic business move to consolidate expenditure. It makes sense from a business perspective to funnel traffic to Betway.

I'm not supporting how things have and are being done to accomplish this move. I have no idea if players are being tracked or if players will be mapped. As affiliates we're heard nothing. We've basically been kept in dark and have really only gathered information by actively seeking it out, ourselves.

Reiterating, I don't believe it's the 15% UK gaming tax, which is the problem here for these casino's or the entity they belong to. As I've said before, this would have been a well planned and executed mission, drawn up many months ago - not something riding on a breeze and a whim.

If the truth be known, that's a more likely scenario at play, here, now.

Fact they've told affiliates next to ziltch; nadda; nothing, seems a fairly obvious conclusion, that either they don't care anymore (because they have our referred players) or they are not saying anything, hoping affiliates will keep sending traffic, which they can funnel over to Betway as direct type_ins and such...

Either way it seems a lose lose for affiliates and again, a win win for these casinos.

For what it's worth, the longer this keeps going round in circles, the more UK players Betway gets signed up. This doesn't directly affect me, least not in the UK picture. But it could affect me down the track. If Buffalo et al have now adopted a 'what do we need affiliates for' attitude.

If it was my livelihood on the line here and I had a UK targeted site, I'd be yanking banners and links. Better to save some traffic than waste it on a distinct possibility that any UK players sent to other casinos in this group, wont be tracked or mapped over to Betway.

Reiterating these amalgamation and take-overs etc (imho) have been very well planned and in the pipeworks for ages. A cynical person may wonder... if the Betway's split from Wagershare, was the commencement of this large scale plan, which has now fallen in the laps of every affiliate who promotes these "other" casinos to their UK traffic.
