Betway have moved the goal posts!

Hi Guys,

I'm new to this webpage and quite new to Betway Partners too!

Ive been sending Betway approx 20 FTD's a month for the past 6 months and have had a couple of payments in excess of £600....

All sounds well and good but it unfortunately is not, I was told by my affiliate manager that the for the first payment to be made I must exceed £700 then he decided to change it to €700 in which I did and was paid.

The following month I earnt £341 and was promised and assured I would be paid as after the first €700 was achieved the minimum payment figure was adjusted to €100 which was a lie!

My affiliate manager is absolutely useless, they have no contact numbers and give you no support at all.

It's a massive shame as for a lone affiliate the figures I believe as a newbie given to them were impressive. I would encourage everyone no matter how small or big to stay away from these guys.

They have now been removed from my website and will no longer get any players at all from me for lying and moving the goal posts too many times.

Has anyone else had this problem with them?

Welcome to AGD, Bombati.

If you look around this forum you will quickly notice a trend in the warnings about this program and their sister, Buffalo Partners. While there is not much wrong with Betway itself, the list of complaints about these affiliate programs is extensive. If your assigned affiliate manager is unwilling to help and incompetent on top of that I figure your best bet is to leave this program and look out for something better instead before building a larger customer base.

This is Betway's policy for minimum payments:

Payments are processed on the 10th working day of each month for the previous month's earnings, providing that payment is more than €100. For Bank wire payments accounts must have a minimum balance of €700.

I know guys I'm just disapointed in myself to be honest. How does everyone find William Hill affiliates?

You can learn more about the programs in their forums. Discussion about William Hill's Affiliate United is listed here. There have not been any threads about them lately but that is due to the fact that nothing has changed with this company throughout the last decade or so.

Betway recently closed down an internal division of theirs called Media Hedge and have since stolen all player accounts associated with it - I wouldn't put it past them and their new rogue affiliate managers to do this with other accounts ... shaving players e.t.c

What exactly does this mean mate? What's an internal division? I've asked and asked my affiliate manager for the main phone number to Betway affiliates and he comes up with excuse after excuse. I'm going to have to cut my losses

Better to cut your loses now, than later (20 NDP x 12 months = 240) when they're shaving the guts out of you 240+ player base. My advice mate, before you decide who to promote, spend time here, sussing out which programs are decent, which ones are not.

Thanks Dave I'm so glad I found this site, I'm a one man band and am starting to put through good numbers across the board like 50 FTD's with no marketing etc, can you recommend me a good casino affilate outfit please? I'm on the hunt.

50FTDS through the likes of Bet365 and Betfair etc across the board I do about 300 FTD's a month and have only been in the business 12months so now I'm beginning to pay more attention
