If the Affiliate wishes to transfer an account to another beneficial account owner it must first request permission to do so by contacting BetVictor. Approval is solely at BetVictor%u2019s absolute discretion. Members of the BetVictor Affiliate program must adhere to BetVictor Affiliates single account policy. The Affiliate shall incorporate and prominently and continually display the most up-to-date links provided by BetVictor somewhere on their website, and the Affiliate shall not alter the form, location or operation of the links without BetVictor%u2019s prior consent. The Affiliate is eligible for Referral Commissions based upon its continued promotion of BetVictor. BetVictor reserves the right to terminate Referral Commission if the Affiliate ceases to promote the BetVictor brand. The Affiliate%u2019s reduced or suspended promotion of BetVictor%u2019s sites will be deemed to represent the Affiliate%u2019s termination of this Agreement.

3.5 Inactive Accounts

BetVictor reserves the right to withhold commission and close any affiliate account deemed to be inactive for a period of 3 months or more. Decisions on inactivity are made at the discretion of the BetVictor Affiliates team but will be influenced by last login date, number of clicks, impressions and referrals.</div><br /><div style="background-color:#9F9; margin-bottom:10px;border: solid #333 2px;"><div style="background-color:#0F0; font-weight:bold; "><span style="font-size:18;">Dated:2012-01-17 - Marketing - Competitive Marketing</span></div>The Affiliate must not violate the terms of use and any applicable policies of any search engines.</div><br /><div style="background-color:#9F9; margin-bottom:10px;border: solid #333 2px;"><div style="background-color:#0F0; font-weight:bold; "><span style="font-size:18;">Dated:2012-01-17 - Marketing - Websites/Domains</span></div>The Affiliate must not use any means to promote sites which resemble in any way the look and/or feel of the BetVictor Site/s whether in whole or in part, nor utilise any such means or site to create the impression that such sites are the Site (or any part of the Site).</div><br /><div style="background-color:#9F9; margin-bottom:10px;border: solid #333 2px;"><div style="background-color:#0F0; font-weight:bold; "><span style="font-size:18;">Dated:2012-01-17 - Marketing Rules</span></div>2.4 Registering of Domain Names

The Affiliate shall not register (or apply to register) any domain name similar to any domain name used by or registered in the name of any member of BetVictor%u2019s group, or any other name that could be understood to designate BetVictor or any member of BetVictor%u2019s group. This would include misspellings of any BetVictor brand or domain.

2.5 Bidding on Brand Terms

The Affiliate may not purchase or register keywords, search terms or other identifiers for use in any search engine, portal, sponsored advertising service or other search or referral service without the direct authorisation from BetVictor and strict adherence to BetVictor%u2019s Pay Per Click (PPC) and Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) policy, likewise the affiliate may not use trade marks, URL%u2019s or variations thereof for use in HTML coding (including but not limited to %u2018meta tags%u2019, %u2018meta descriptions%u2019, %u2018meta content%u2019, %u2018page titles%u2019, %u2018titles%u2019).</div><br /><div style="background-color:#FAA; margin-bottom:10px;border: solid #333 2px;"><div style="background-color:#F00; font-weight:bold; "><span style="font-size:18;">Dated:2012-01-17 - Minimum Player Rule</span></div>2.16 Continued Promotion

BetVictor reserve the right to adjust affiliate commissions and/or close accounts that are not continually and actively promoting BetVictor.

BetVictor also reserves the right to close affiliates accounts and withhold initial commissions pertaining to affiliates that have not referred a minimum of one depositing player per calendar month; and/or accounts that are only linked to a single active player.

The Affiliate shall not make any claims or representations, or give any warranties, in connection with BetVictor and the Affiliate shall have no authority to, and shall not, bind BetVictor to any obligations. The Affiliate confirms that any mailing list in his/her possession has been compiled in accordance with all applicable rules, legislation and regulations and has all the necessary authority to make such communications.</div><br /><div style="background-color:#9F9; margin-bottom:10px;border: solid #333 2px;"><div style="background-color:#0F0; font-weight:bold; "><span style="font-size:18;">Dated:2012-01-17 - Termination</span></div>5.1 Term and Termination

a. This Agreement shall remain in force from the date of this Agreement for an initial fixed term of one year and shall continue thereafter unless and until terminated on 30 days written notice by one party to the other or otherwise as terminated below. For purposes of notification of termination, delivery via e-mail is considered a written and immediate form of notification.
b. Either party may terminate this Agreement by notice in writing with immediate effect if the other party is in material breach of any of the terms of this Agreement and such breach, where it is remediable, remains unremedied fourteen days after receipt of notice from the terminating party that the other party is in breach.
c. Either party shall have the right to terminate this Agreement with immediate effect on notice in writing if liquidation or similar proceedings relating to insolvency are filed or initiated by or against the other party.
d. After termination, BetVictor shall pay to the Affiliate commission subject to the terms of this Agreement on bets and accounts placed prior to the date of termination but no further commission shall be payable.
5.2 Consequence

Upon termination the Affiliate must immediately discontinue or disable the link to BetVictor%u2019s sites, remove the link and all of BetVictor%u2019s banners/icons and Marks from the Affiliate%u2019s site. All rights and licenses given to the Affiliate in this Agreement shall immediately terminate. Affiliates should seriously consider if they want they risk of the same happening to them...

Unfortunately i must also admit that i was wrong thinking they are okay.

They wanted to get more traffic on the german market because they are still not much known here. They want to get more exposure and we tried to promote them.

But you all know that this needs time. Now the bad rule has also taken on me, without a warning that account will close. They say that is fact and the rules.

This kind of way i take the occasion to delete all campaigns and banne them from our sites.

It makes no sence for those companies to have this rules, because they only annoy their partners and the consequences will be what we do now. We kick them out.

They should rename in BadVictor :emoticon-0174-bandi

Im not sure whether I trust them. I have made over 20 referrals and don't make any revenue from them. They do state you will receive a 30% lifetime revenue but I only seem to make commission on sign ups. Anyone else have this problem?

The only sense it seems to make is, these companies use these terms to screw their partners. If a burgler breaks into my home and I catch them, I call the police. If a program partner also tries to rob me, I kick them out

Bet Victor are the only program to dump ME!
I had regular income from them at the time - the only reason they gave me the boot was I didn't bring in their quota of NEW depositors.

My advice is get out of there before you get seriously burned.

Im not sure whether I trust them.

If you have the feeling you can't trust a program, better kick them out. Their terms are more as critical. This isn't really a partnership where you can build on.

Other guys would say they will steal the comission of your players, if they make your account closure or set inactive due to their questionable terms.

They can change their terms or not, for us it will never give a come back, because once trying kidding their partners, they will try always again through other ways.

I just also found this term in their general casino t&c (xxx.betvictor.com/sports/en/content/terms-and-conditions):

• 11.6 If you do not use your account for betting or gaming for a period of at least three hundred and ninety six (396) consecutive days then it will be deemed an "Inactive Account". All Inactive Accounts will incur an Inactive Account Fee as set out below. We will notify you by email when your account becomes an Inactive Account.

What happened in my case is that they close the customer account due to inactivity and requested a new one to be opened... A perfect method to get rid of any affiliate.

Can't say how much I agree with this.

I've been marketing BetVictor for over ten years but have recently had two accounts closed for "inactivity" - the accounts were actually quite active and commission was being earned monthly and I was sending them traffic every month... what's a guy to do if they can't convert it?

There are a few things which now really strike me with BetVictor.

1) The £500 minimum affiliate payout - quite difficult to achieve in itself and while you're trying to get that kind of commission...

2) If you don't send them sufficient converting customers, they can close your account meaning that there may well be some commissions due but not enough for you to be paid out.

3) As a bookmaker, BetVictor don't really have that many great offers. There's certainly nothing to distinguish them from the 101 other bookies out there and their current £25 free bet offering is quite standard, too which makes it doubly difficult to achieve the recruitment requirement.

In summary, they do seem to be setting their affiliates out to fail from the start and I'd have to agree that there does seem to be some short-termism about it at this stage. In financial difficulty?

I don't think it's anything to do with funding, more that they simply do not value their affiliates - in both senses of the word.
They are also focused on the betting side of things, and don't value their casinos anywhere near as much.
It's the same with most of the "big name" bookies, like Ladbrokes, Will Hills and Bet365.
