So it seems betfair just closed my account. I haven't been able to login for over 2 weeks and they didn't pay me my commision last month. Also they don't reply to any mails.

Has this happened to anyone else? Criminal behaviour.

they can stop your program any time without explanation and steal your current and future RS earnings

Paddy Power Betfair Affiliate Programme has reviewed your affiliate account you have with us and feel you are no longer suitable to be our partner. We have taken the decision to suspend your account with immediate effect. The reason for this is your account falls into one or more of the below categories:

1. Customers - You have been delivering a type of customer which is not part of our strategy moving forward and to stop this flow of traffic we will be terminating your agreement
2. Compliance - Your marketing of our brands does not adhere to our strict guidelines and we feel you are unsuitable to be a PPB partner
3. Fraud/Anti-Money Laundering - We believe your account to be involved in suspicious activities
4. Inactivity - You have not delivered one new customer in a designated time period
More information on these can be found in our terms and conditions - 5.9, 7.4 and 12.4.

Paddy Power Betfair reserves the right to immediately suspend or terminate your agreement. Any payments or outstanding commission which were due will be withheld and not be paid.

Apologies for any inconvenience caused, we wish you all the best for the future.

You can always tell when an affiliate program is struggling. That's when it starts stealing from its affiliates.

Mine is also closed.

An invoice that I sent them 4 months ago is still unpaid. I guess it will remain unpaid.

Single ticket blacklist.

My account has was closed in the beginning of this months, and all future payments for revenue share customers brought in over the last 6+ years voided. The excuse was a bogus claim about lack of activity which is not backed by the numbers. On the other hand, my referred players brought in positive net revenue in 27 of the last 28 months, and earning so far was up 80% over last year.

I have described all the details and some general takes on the effect on the business model in a LinkedIn article that has gained traction and includes several comments from other affiliates that has similar experiences with Betfair. Not allowed to post link, but the article is called "Betfair Merges into Notfair".

Please share and comment in order to warn other affiliates of this conduct, and hopefully preventing other operators from considering similar short-sighted money-saving schemes.

Just noticed the informations about Betfair Partnerships on the right bar. Maybe this is old information and not updated but Betfair has not "negative carry over"

According to their terms it is discretionary = unacceptable as far as AGD goes.

"At the end of a calendar month, Betfair shall record your total share of Net Revenues, if any, during the previous calendar month. In the event that a revenue share in any calendar month is a negative amount, Betfair shall be entitled but not obliged to carry forward and set off such negative amount against future revenue shares which would otherwise be payable to you. However, Betfair shall also be entitled but not obliged to zero the negative balance that would otherwise be carried forward."

Okay i haven't read this clause but what is written on website may not transparent enough. What they could do is to write "No negative carry over" on start page with a note to this clause, what would be more clear.

To write a clause like this into terms & conditions and have the possibillity to do, of course isn't great and i agree with you. We never had any negative carry over in all the years.
