The friend of mine informed me today.

To be short. AU traffic work ok.
US traffic redirect here: https://www.gamblingclub.com

So, if visitor from US click on RevenueGaint aff.link, they don't return to your affiliate site. They grab your player.

This is definitely not the most honest way to conduct business. It would be preferable if players landed on a 'Your country is restricted' landing page and the journey ends there. Even better they should send it to a casino that accepts that traffic and make sure its credited to the affiliate account. However, this sort of solution is quite difficult to attain.

Installing some geo-targeting yourself might be a good way to solve this issue, if any US players click your links then ensure your system sends them to a US friendly brand of your choosing, that way the clicks/potential players wont slip through the cracks to the RG affiliate site.

Actually discovered it few months ago and planned to write.

Well, it is not nice and the best would be if they could redirect that to some US brand with us tagged. But honestly if they do not have a US brand - that's not their job to start looking for US company to work with and so on.

Bottom line, I think it's our job to direct correctly - otherwise the visitor is lost, one way or the other. (saying that despite the fact that i would prefer to see "Restricted geo" message).

We got in touch with them regarding this couple times already, last time was months ago ( back in November if I recall ) and never got a response.

They stopped taking the USA traffic 2-3 years ago , and obviously wanted to take an advantage of affiliate sites that had/still have a lot of USA traffic and are ranking well for their brands in the USA. So they still get piece of that action without paying affiliates a dime for that traffic as they officially dont take that traffic but can redirect it to one of their affiliate sites.

Shady biz for sure. We have placed the pop ups for their bingo brands and if a player clicks on one of their brands' banners they get recommendation for other bingo sites to play at.

After every new discovery of affiliates or players being shafted, I think to myself: surely they can't find anymore dodgy angles to steal players/commissions/winnings. But each time I'm proved wrong, and another scamming shit-hole sits in the spotlight!

The industry in its early days always had a couple of dodgy bastards trying to scam people. Where there's the potential to make HUGE money, crooked bastards will always lurk.

However, on a whole, and thankfully, most programs and gambling venue were honest.

As the years rolled by, the industry has attracted more and more shifty characters.

There was time when 25% (etc., etc.) commission meant, 25% (etc., etc.) commission was paid. While there are STILL programs who pay the exact % as stated, the majority have been allowed to shaft affiliates, hence... it's Monkey see Monkey do.

Somewhere along that time-line, one of these crooks, decided to shaft their affiliates, by enacting absurd GGR deductions, including, additional "Admin Fees".

What does "Admin Fee" mean? Any BS they can think of.

A scam is a scam, and paying affiliates anything less than the advertised (agree on) %, is just that, a scam.

Any program who chooses to mislead affiliates with this BS, steal their players or deduct bogus fees, including absurd "Admin Fees", should be blacklisted.

Everyone should blacklist them. Outrank the bastards in the SERPS.

Do that, and it hurts these crook's bank accounts.

That is the only way to force change.

A lot of them do that unfortunately, the ones accepting grey areas usually or those who used to have a license and no longer do, etc...

I can't even think of just one example, every time we're performing massive checkes we discover new ones. That's why we always must keep a close eye and test links constantly unfortunately..it's a major hassle, but better avoid wasting traffic for sure.

Super nicely written and you hit the nail on the head exactly. The industry has changed due to the massive competition and too many casinos and most programs shaves the affiliates these days. Take for example a lot well known "Legends" who use their old recognized reputation to shave affiliates with thieving methods like remove earnings with bonuses and coupons without even putting a shell on it and openly giving a s .. for small affiliates.

Try reviewing your stats for the various programs. Take a look at deposits minus withdrawals and look at your final earnings. Calculate earnings from deposits minus withdrawals over a year so that the programs can not make false statements such as "How likely is it that a player signs up, claims a coupon and leaves. It can happen, but usually they play the bulk of it", "Coupons aren't taking away from your commissions and they're not there simply to take away from affiliates", "if someone is pushing them, they need a higher quality of traffic to see the better commissions to get over the freebie hurdle" , "unused bonuses and coupos will be removed after a period of 180 days" blah blah blah. please take a look at your numbers and you will find out where the devil lives.

That casino is never promoted again!

This is exactly what happens in many places plus the worst places are also deducted hidden "fees" without it being stated in the agreement which for example Legend Affiliates deducts about 30% in hidden fees from net win other shave depositors from CPA deals. Of course, it is up to each affiliate program how they pay affiliates but all fees NEED to be informed and transparent.
