Interesting development, just got the email from Affiliate Edge:

As a valued affiliate of Affiliate Edge we wanted to inform you of an important and exciting change.

Affiliate Edge and its client All Star Slots has been purchased by the Club World Casino group.

Whilst the decision to sell the above properties to Club World wasn't an easy one, the change in ownership will mean faster growth of Affiliate Edge and its client All Star Slots.

The transition of ownership will be a near-seamless one with little down time and your players will of course remain tagged to you

I wonder how revenue share agreements will be affected?

Also, will the negative carry-over that CWC impose now be applied to All Star Slots?

.

I quit promoting CWC because of their negative carry over. I wonder if they will take my commission from all star and apply it to my negative I still have there?

I see this take-over as bad news too, if NCO is to be applied to All Star.
NCO really sucks.
My Club World account is in the positive right now and I'm hoping they soon scrap NCO, so I am still promoting them, but if it goes into a big negative again (like it has twice in the past) that'll be it for me.
Any new affiliates signing up to NCO programs are just shooting themselves in the foot IMHO.

I'll be pretty pissy if they implement NCO for All Star Slots. I like that casino a lot and was promoting them for a short period of time with good results.

Martyn - you need to contact AGD. You have the email and the IM.

hi all, yes it is true. We have purchased All Star Slots and the affiliate program.

Both will be merged into the current CWC Affiliate program bringing our total of awesome casinos to 5!

All Star will assume the current terms and conditions of the CWC Affiliate program and affiliates will also retain the players they have already referred, so no loss of players and aff links will remain the same.

I hope that you all see this a positive move forward and a way to improve our current offerings. We have many more positive advancements to come so please stick with us and stay tuned, I am sure you will like what we have planned.

KasinoKing, I understand the views that people have regards to neg carryover but you have to look at it from a business perspective. Having to take a hit on the negative can put serious financial strain on a business but you also need to look at it this way. Do you think we want to see you in a negative? How often do you think you will be in a negative?

For the vast majority the negative will not affect too many affiliates and even when it does affect we will work with you to get you out of that hole. If you stats look crap, mine look crapier. I wouldnt mind keeping my job!

If you (anyone) are in the red, get in touch and lets see what we can do.

Please dont forget (like I just did!) we dont bundle our brands either. You get paid commissions based on the activity from each casino, individually. So a negative in one won't wipe out all earnings. That's good...right?

Back to the thread, All Star Slots....

Players can win and lose so the chance you get a big winner for a brand can happen anytime, seen it last month at other (with no-nco) programs and I am happy to start from 0 again, instead climbing out of -10k hole. I am getting older (who is not) and I do not want to worry about that.

There may be short bits of downtime as we complete the migration, so this is nothing to stress about. The email you received did mention that this would be completed with as little downtime as possible and as seamless as we can make it.
