Here is my story with GoWild affiliates.
They owe me more than 1000 dollars in December commissions but refuse to pay. I started to contact them on 8 of January.
First, I was ignored- no replies to emails, no replies to skype messages. I opened a thread on GPWA and they responded
immediately promising to take care of my payment. Then again promises after promises. Finally , on 17 of January I received this email:
" Hi Jiri,
I hope this email finds you well.
I have just been contacted by our finance department and I come with great news. They will proceed with your payment however if you please reply to this email with your PMOP ( preferred method of payment) so we can update it in our system. "
At this point I thought that the problems were resolved. But I was wrong.
After 5 more days of silence and more emails to Gowild , I receive this yesterday:
"Your account is currently being monitored by our finance dept., hence the relevant payment upset. This happens also for your protection, since we're not taking any rush decisions with our partners. Unlike most of the affiliate programs out there, we're more lenient and always give our affiliates the chance to prove themselves and their business. This means that as soon as, we start generating more traffic from you, in order to evaluate player value, behavior, etc, we will not be able to release payment. GoWild enjoys a hard-earned great reputation for excellent customer/player and affiliate service, so as long as, things settle down and results keep coming in, i will update you accordingly."
Now after this I was really shocked. I brought in several players into Gowild through my website and one of them lost a good amount of money there.
The casino had more than 2100 dollars in profit. Now it was time to give me my share of that profit. And here start the problems.
How can I understand their reply? What else should I do in order to get what I am legally owed? To prove what? Value? My player made a great value for them. Behavior? What is that suppose to mean? Are we partners or not? Why I should PROVE them something at the moment they owe me money?
The problem is that they even don't explain in normal language what should I prove- just tell me that they will decide if to pay me or not in the future -all
by themselves. Is that what is written in their terms and conditions? Absolutely NOT.
Can that be accepted? And if they want more traffic before they pay- how can I generate more traffic for them if they don't pay me? Should I bring more and more profit for Go Wild and to hope that, may be ,one day they decide to pay me what I am owed. And if again they decide not to pay? And you can see from what I wrote above- they don't keep their own promises!
Am I as an affiliate totally in the hands of the affiliate program managers' will- when it comes to the commission payments?
