Hey everyone,
A question for those who have been in affiliate marketing long enough to get burned at least once.
When a new network reaches out, or you find one yourself, what do you check before sending a single click their way?
Our shortlist, based on conversations from recent conferences:
— Payment terms in writing before launch, with no “we’ll sort it out later”
— A real person on the other side who replies within a day
— Clear traffic source rules from day one
— Reports you can reconcile with your own tracking
— Reviews here and in other communities, plus how the network handles criticism
What’s on your list? And the flip side: what made you stay with a network longer than you planned?
