VS don't give a rat's about their affiliates...

Received the following link (from an insider, who will remain anonymous):

Having personally raised an issue with Alexander, I can assure everyone he's a #1 A-hole, who seems to promote staff who are happy to lie and cheat players, to make VS money!

Question #3: In your opinion, does the industry rely too much on affiliates?
Reply:Yes. Affiliates do a really good job, but they take all the profits, and often operators pay them more than a player is actually worth, especially if you consider that some companies pay up to €500 for a player. However, I think operators will rely less on affiliates in the future, and we have already seen some companies dropping affiliates completely. The termination of Sky Bet UK’s affiliate programme is one example. There is increased regulatory pressure on affiliates and operators, with regulators saying operators are responsible for what their affiliates are doing. It is a tricky situation, and many operators are not able to check up on thousands of affiliates. We have taken on the challenge of checking all our affiliates, but we don’t have that many.

Question #4: Having been on both sides, how do you think the affiliate-operator relationship will evolve in the future?
Reply: I think all signs point towards licensing of affiliates, and that will result in tough times for affiliates. In many countries there are also cheaper marketing channels such as TV advertising. We have tested this in Sweden, where it turned out to be more cost-effective to run TV commercials than acquiring clients from affiliates.

It's no surprise that Videoslots don't give a crap about their affiliates, we all know this by now. Reading Alexander's comments makes me realise even more that they don't have the slightest respect for us. It's apparent that this is a man that wouldn't have second thoughts about shaving numbers. Such a derogatory view on affiliates lol.

He can dream all he want about us affiliates suddenly disappearing. That won't happen as long as this industry is alive. We will continue to play a significant role one way or another whatever may happen. Either way, If 7 out of 10 operators would cease working with affiliates, the remaining 3 would be extremely happy and successful :)

So...has anyone been paid yet? :D

Much to my shock and amazement, they have paid me early the last 2 months!
Last month on the 11th, and this month on the 10th.
Mind you - that might just be for me because I'm "special" :p

Equally shocking is they just offered me a "very big" 100% match bonus as a player... very surprising as I am actually life-time ahead at VS having had a few major wins over the years...

"Affiliates do a really good job, but they take all the profits" LOL - most affiliates get 3 cents in the dollar from videoslots !

The worst part is, if it wasn't for affiliates, VS wouldn't where they are now. VS made it BIG by scamming their affiliates.

Full marks for treachery Video Slots!

The industry has parallel worlds. The world of events, magazines, interviews, etc and the world of players and affiliates that get scammed daily.

In fact, we’ve only spent €7 million on marketing since we started operating. That’s not a lot for a company of our size.
Because of the insane fees.

The majority of our new customers still come from Google because the domain is so strong.
Don't get me wrong, they're free to do so, but their priority is SEO, not affiliates.

And here he is hinting on more programs stealing income from affiliates:
Yes. Or this:
We are also targeting licences in Romania, Spain, Italy and Portugal.
Lol, we hear this stories from Miles already for years.

Looks as if I might not get paid this month. Out of all the 35+ programs I work with, this has only happened with Videoslots. Disappointing.

With a probability bordering on certainty, Videoslots tried to remove content by me from the internet, in particular my video about them (youtu.be/xdA5FRU7ILA), which makes them as dumb as all wannabe Rocket Man's with their censorship.

The report here now is more evidence, that this company is evil and unfortunately, I now have to distance myself from the official representative, I have defended over so a long time.

His weakness and cowardice has reached my breaking point. Even in the case, he is only a weak puppet for the oligarch like owner of that program, this is no excuse to act like a whining loser, when the cameras are off. It's about money, and he has to ensure, that every webmaster, even a small one, will get her/his money on time.

If he can't do that, he is a flop, and this industry is the wrong place for him to work. The program itself with their insane rip-off fees is already at the brink of self-destruction, and only GPWA, the Protectorate of the Shade and the Twilight, only they would accept them as sponsor in my opinion.

No one else would do that, and they do not deserve the chance, to get away with everything by paying for it.

I missed this bit, which, maybe, affiliates who still promote VS, could take as warning of things to come.

Alexander Stevendahl CEO of VideoSlots.com

I think operators will rely less on affiliates in the future, and we have already seen some companies dropping affiliates completely. The termination of Sky Bet UK’s affiliate programme is one example.

Yeah, Sky Bet UK terminated the affiliate program. However, the company still exists, and continues to take wagers for players STOLEN from their affiliates, all the while also stealing the rightful earnings of affiliates on said players. Seems Alexander doesn't have an issue with white-collar-crime!

---------

A smart business decision, isn't always the right decision.

Furthermore, Karma eventual bites those is the ass, who, have trodden a less-than ethical road. Here's a prime example... Sportsbet.com.au decided a few years back to retroactively enforce player quotas.

Here's how Karma bit Sportsbet on the ass, to the tune of AU$1.3Mil, three (3) days ago.

This weekend Aussies went to the polls for the Federal Election. Sportbet.com.au took bets on which candidate would win. With such a large majority of Punters backing Bill Shorten (Labor Party), and even Sportsbet was confident he'd win the Election, they paid-out winnings three (3) days before the election. Problem is, Bill Lost, and the Liberals are back in for another term of office.

Clearly this was some sort of Marketing stunt, which, has gone horribly wrong, and left Sportsbet looking like complete dicks!

@Roulette Zeitung - I told you ages ago Miles is two-faced. However... credit were credit is due, you've now seen the light. Most affiliates trusted Miles BUT he sold everyone out to VS, including himself. You'd have to have very sketchy ethics, and a truly broken moral compass, to continue to work with a company who treats their affiliates the way Alexander Stevendahl does :(

Just an excuse if they know they have an affiliate conference, how about doing something novel and paying out early for a change. That would keep affiliates onside and happy

Payments are not late according to the T&C
From the FAQ at VS:
When will you pay out commissions?

Payments are settled every month, always one month in arrears. What you earn in May, for example, will be paid out to you at the end of June etc.
