I find these sorts of posts about his "cred" and reputation odd. Maybe it's because he used to post a lot of inconsequential stuff in affiliate forums so people would think he's their friend?

I do not know Miles personally as I do not do a lot of casino, so I am going on how he acted on forums in the past and how he was perceived by many others. I could be completely wrong but he did appear to at least take an interest in the affiliates welfare.

That all changed when he joined VS, the fact that he did post regularly at the start of his journey with VS seemed like the old Miles. But in my eyes he was obviously severely handicapped by the way VS operate their business. His posts became non existant whether by choice or more likely ordered from the cheifs above.

I for one wish him well, but like you I wait with baited breath about the incoming mug (hmm manager). :p

I DO know Miles personally - have done since 2014 when he was at Fast Track (which was not dodgy IMPO)
And I do think he is a good guy, and that when he went to VS I'm sure he didn't know exactly what they had done, or were planning to do to their affiliates. He tried his best under very difficult circumstances. I am a bit surprised he stuck it out for so long, but it was probably a pretty well-paid job, and having moved to Malta with his family, I can't blame him for staying there.

I first dealt with Miles when he was a junior AM at Red Returns (circa 2010/11). I'd known his cousin for years previously. Who btw, was one of the head-honchos at Fortune Lounge Group (aka osiristrading.com, in Joburb). Until Miles commenced work at Video Slots in 2017, AFAIK he never told porky pies. He'd previously built a decent rapport with affiliates, under his other AM roles.

Sadly, and it seems, ALL that changed when he took up the VS position.

For the record KK, you personally MET Alexander CEO of VS at ICE (2017?). And, discussed the missing "stats" issue. You were confident he'd honor his word, and sort it out. But, he didn't. Instead, he pissed in your pocket with bare-faced-lies. That right there my friend... lying and scamming seems to be the unethical CULTURE woven thru Panda Media and Video Slots Ltd.

NB - VS marketed 25% cashback on all spins (on the VS home page) least until the UKGC were about to audit them, then they yanked it. That bogus 25%, crunched down to a measly 1% or less. Not unlike the bogus affiliate commissions, hey!

At the end of the day, Miles has either regained his moral-compass and resigned or VS has sacked him. Either way, we can only hope Miles has learnt what not to do in future AM positions.

Edit: Added 25% image ;)

As with all bonuses - players MUST read the T&Cs. And those terms clearly stated that is was 25% of the casino's house edge for each game. e.g. On a 4% HA game, the players got 1% back, as you say.

Although I agree that image could be misleading, it's pretty obvious they could never give back 25% of the wagered amount!

Mate, lets call it exactly what it is... False Advertising... more so, Bait and Switch. Besides, if it was Kosher, then there was no reason to take it down before the UKGC audit ;)

It's not whether the 25% offer is achievable or not. Instead, it's just another example of how VS are all-too-willing to mislead with inflated figures. It's one thing advertising 45% affiliate commission, that turns out to be 33% or something. Compared to advertising 45% which is actually 5.xx% or less.

No one in their right-mind would partner an aff program who paid $0.05xx cents in the dollar... And there lays the scam!

@KasinoKing - maybe your not entirely au fait with meaning of a "scam". In that case, and for other's benefit...

https://www.vocabulary.com/dictionary/scam
A scam is a sneaky or dishonest plan that's meant to con someone. A scam is basically a hoax dressed up to look like a real business plan, worthwhile invention, or investment idea. Scams are almost always designed to make money for their creators.

When VS chose; made a conscious decision; being compos mentis, to remove the "stats", and reneged on their promise to reinstate said stats within 2 weeks, this is when their "scam" was hatched. Over the following 3+ years (and because affiliates had no idea what was being deducted from GGR), they (VS) effectively stole (defrauded) their affiliates with absurd fees and deductions. Calculations they flatly refused to disclose all the while the "stats" were missing.

It's everyone's prerogative to defend VS (for their own purpose - whatever that is), but... if ALL the facts were presented to an impartial cross-section of people, they'd also see this for what it truly is, a scam, designed to steal from their affiliates.

Circa 2015, Video Slots announced a 300% growth in profit. No, that certainly wouldn't have anything to do with the missing "stats" or the absurd fee deductions, which also seem to include double-dipping too.

Christmas 2019 with Videoslots

The year is almost over and Christmas bells already ringing in the shopping center. Well, the old discussion, wether an employee can be blamed for the corrupt or shady system of his program ...

My opinion has not changed, on the contrary,.

No one can be forced to work for a shaday program, and no can hide behind the excuse, that he simply follows an order. Carmel and a few others have shown, that I am correct. You are not forced to work for them.

In the real world also the henchmen will be arrested when crimes are committed.

In the real world aside this industry also at a civil court a manager will be shown the consequences for his actions.

No one can say to the judge "Sir, I only followed orders. So can you please give me a free pass for our wrongdoing, at least me? Please! I have so many children to feed. My own and countless others in 17 different cities all over the world from the time I was the guy who received orders from my leader, who was the captain of our pirate ship."

So, the year is almost over, and it's time to summarize, what happened with Videoslots the past 12 months or so.

They are really a great program. I can tell you that.

Here are the top 3 highlights:

1. Attempts to censor the truth

The two-faced manager of Videoslots desperately tried to put down my video ( youtu.be/xdA5FRU7ILA ) and he requested, that it will be banned from a public place, where it has been already shown.

2. Trust Pilot - Fake positive reviews

I know the review scene very well and it's more and more easy to identify real and fake reviews. Videoslots had so a bad rating at Trust Pilot, that they started to write dozens of fake positive reviews to get at least 3 stars to recover from the trend to almost Zero stars, but the reviews are so obvious fake, that this low IQ operation is nothing but a disservice.

3. Incompetence can be very expensive

Not only a chess player has a good feeling for the situation and can predict into the future. Also a company has to be clever, always serious and untouchable.

Videoslots had to pay a huge sum to the UK Gambling Commission ( https://www.gamblingcommission.gov....against-online-casinos.aspx#VideoslotsLimited ).

Was not a great Christmas last year, right?!
Perhaps this year it will be better.
There is always the possibility of a new low.

Merry Christmas, Videoslots.
