This is an actual conversation I had with a person on Kindred when I raised concerns regarding their terms:


Kindred: yeah how can i help

Me: Great, Sorry, I accidentally called you up twice.
I read on Affiliate Guarddog that Kindred is blacklisted there because of negative carryover. I looked in the terms and it seems that its true?

Kindred: it is a pretty standard terms for a sportsbook and casino

Me: Hm, I dont have negative carryover on any of the 30+ casinos I promote.

Kindred: ok non of the 30 you are working with are as big as Kindred

Me: Maybe, but they are still big and generate money

Kindred: great for you

Me: Ok, thanks for letting me know

Is it just me or does this guy at Kindred come across as super arrogant? What a bunch of douchebags. And it's not a "standard term". Their terms are a joke and this affiliate group should be closed down.

I'm jumping the Kindred ship on this one. Luckily they were never a consistent earner for me. One thing I have learnt from any unfriendly affiliate introductory terms in light of the regulatory changes is that there are always of plenty of new comers to take their place!.

These guys don't even respond to email anymore. Seems they really dont give a rats ass about their affiliates. I'm bringing them some good value players but will probably cut my ties with them. I'd rather not make money with them at all rather than be treated like air. I'm making enough to go by with other programs that much more deserve my attention.

Does it mean any negative month they will reduce your % on the next positive month to recoup the 'financial loss' of previous months

Yes, that is an unacceptable term for sure. It could also mean (because of our 50 million GBP payout to our CEO) we are now at loss therefore all rewards plans are at a loss now! It does effectively grant the right to set commissions at whatever they want. Honestly its such an extreme term no ethical lawyer should even have agreed to include it as it makes the agreement meaningless. eg. What's the point of terms even?

I just got suspended for not sending any new depositing customers in the past 6 months, a requirement that was not in their T&C when I registered back in 2010-ish. What a joke.

Kindred are absolute grifters. Nasty people too. They changed their name a few years ago to "Kindred" to act all caring and nice, but it was a complete fraud. Have no idea why these people even attend affiliate conferences any more

You'll see they're now not featured on ANY of the big football websites. Reason for that. Crap brand, doesn't convert. They keep getting into regulatory trouble too. Would not be surprised if this brand goes bankrupt or is closed in the next few years

Ironically too these jokers closed us down more than 2 years ago. Since then they've been paying on average more than 50c a click on Google ads from the same ad space (without knowing it!). When we did revenue share with them we earned barely anything

Unibet lowered by commission from 45% to 20% out of nowhere, then they ended up closing my account and stealing years of players. Unibet are scumbags and crooks. Do not promote them.
