Hey everyone
SiGMA Rome is coming up, and for many people in affiliate marketing it is the last big event of the year. That timing always raises the same question about what a late-season conference is actually for.
Some go to Rome to finish the year strong. They come with a short list of partners, push conversations that started in London or Lisbon to a clear decision, and leave with deals that still count for Q4.
Others treat it as the first event of next year. Q4 results are already in motion, so they use Rome to meet new people, test ideas for 2027 and fill January with conversations that have a real starting point.
Both approaches make sense, and the calendar rarely leaves room for both.
So what is Rome for you this year: wrapping up 2026 or setting up 2027? And if you are skipping it, what are you focusing on instead?
