Dear Valued Partner,
As you may have read on the affiliate forums lately, there has been an issue with progressive deductions amongst Rival casinos. FortuneReel is on the net wagering model for commission payouts and thus are not affected by the recent debate.
If you should have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us.

How arrogant can one get? They are coming off my sites since they do not bother to explain what they have done with the money take from affiliates in the past, what they plan to do in the future and nothing about the processor fees being removed. What does being on the net wagering model have anything to do with this issues? Maybe I am confused I dunno!

I sent a copy sent to you Andy

Fortune Reel sent this very short email (forwarded to Andy in case he didn't get it):

I updated FirstGamingPartners, but FortuneReel will need to show us their calculation, IMO, before we can re-classify.

Hi,

Charlie here from First Gaming Partners (Slot Power + Vanguard Casino).

Just a quick note to say that we have newly revised our policy after discussions with some of our affiliates (the revision is now posted on the AGD list), and we will not be making any Progressive deductions - however our standing on the Fraud/processor seizure issue will remain as stated, at least for the time being.

As stated in our email from earlier today: if and when the seized processor funds are released, all affected commissions will be fully paid.

Thank you for your understanding, and please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

Yea Charlie, I have a few concerns, for one...when will our Feb. Commissions start saying "Processing" at FGP? I for one have never seen it take this long in the past for it to at least say "processing".

A few other concerns that I have posted about today are in this post and a couple afterwards over at Casinomeister where you also posted in the same thread...here

Firstgaming - MasterCard Defaults - affiliates penalized - Casinomeister's Online Casino and Poker Forum

If you could respond there to those concerns that I have, it would be much appreciated, thanks.

Our Group Igaming.pro thought a lot about this hard situation. Here you are what we decide, step by step :

1 - We don't want to charge existing affiliates for progressive contributions : from March 01, 2009 to Feb 28th, 2010. When you signed up in Igaming.pro, our terms didn't speak about any deductions regarding progressive jackpots, so you couldn't be aware of this. We want to respect contract filled with our affiliates.

2 - We don't want to charge new affiliates for progressive contributions from March 01 2010 : we want to pay all new affiliates with our current revshare system. Distribute affiliate tagged player progressive net losses prorata to all the affiliates in our casino doesn't seem fair in my opinion.

3 - We don't want to change commissions system conditions for existing affiliates : we want to continue to pay all existing affiliates with our current revshare system based on ANW without any deductions on progressive adjustment.

Fyi, here you are what is exactly the ANW commission payment without any deductions on progressive adjustment. ANW = deposits – cashouts - chargebacks. Imo, it's the most interesting for affiliates.

On the other hand, here you are the net wagering system without any deductions on progressive adjustment. Net wagering system = Bets minus winnings minus promotions/comps plus promotion reversals (from max_cashout and sticky) minus chargebacks minus manager transactions.

Of course, some Rival casinos applied ANW system or net wagering system and decided to deduct progressive contributions to affiliates.

So, when we launched we decided to offer to affiliates the best solution to be paid : we decided to continue this way :)

4 - We want to deduct to affiliates all deposits lost because of processors with retroactive effect if needed : in my opinion it's like a chargeback, so we cannot pay affiliates if money is retained by processors. It's not your fault, but it's not our fault either : we have to share risks together.

More, our security system in Tradition Casino has been criticized by players on some forums because of systematic security requests never seen in Rival Casinos : result is good today because i think we'll get a very low portion of deposits lost, considering we always insisted on deposits made with ewallets. i'm really interesting to have your personal feedback about this point compared to other Rival groups :)

So, now, you know our position concerning all points. An official annuncement will be sent to all our affiliates next week.

To be very honest all this confuses me and I feel like a dear. Can't move!! Do not know where to turn - left or right :)

In simple terms - can someone tell me:

What are the brands an affiliate should keep ?

Sloto'Cash Casino
BetUS Casino
Lion Slots Casino
Cocoa Casino
Da Vinci's Gold Casino
Paradise 8 Casino
This is Vegas Casino
Slots of Fortune

Of these ones - which ones would you AXE - should nothing change as of Monday?

I may have more - i gotta check lol - but this is giving me migraine!

Just want to be done with them all to be honest.

Well except for Sloto Cash - I will keep them 100% - CONNIE is the best even though she dont talk to me anymore.. LOL

In page 1 of this thread, annuncement from Affiliate Guard seems very clear and give all details you need. Affiliate Guard has simply to update the list considering new event from affiliates programs and it will permit to all affiliates to know which decisions have been taken by programs.

NB : Guard dog, please update your list with details i gave on my last post :)

Ditto for me Steve! I don't have time to fool with this much longer as I will be doing my main portal updates this week and would like to see a STAY or GO list! Thanks for the updates Andy.

Enough time has passed and I'm ready to move on. ;D

The list has been updated again :) Sorry guys. The first post is the best place to look and make your decision (IMO).

BetUS Casino is NOT a white label!!! Wow. I did not know this. As such, they will not pass on progressives nor will they pass on processor issues. BetUS has their own processors and doesn't use Rivals banning system either.

SlotsOfFortune will not pass on progressives and will update us next week on the processor issue.

iGaming.Pro is updated showing that they will also not pass on progressives.

The bottom of that list on post 1 is the list of Rivals I would NOT promote. They have made no statement whatsoever.

Hi there gambling guru,

On the subject of commission payments this month - one of the processors that has shut down (without seizing funds as it was only used for outgoing payments) is the ACH method. ACH is no longer available for players or affiliates.
All affected players and affiliates were notified, we just allowed a little extra time for alternative methods to be selected, hence the extra delay.
Commissions should be paid by Monday.

Regarding the other issues you mention, could you please include a quick summary here and I'll do my best to address your concerns - I've checked back on the other forum and it's grown into a much bigger discussion, quite confusing. :-/

Thanks,
Charlie

I made a similar post on GPWA and I will make the same post in response to the above quote.

The thing is though, processor confiscations are NOT chargebacks. You are refusing to pay commissions on legitimate players who made legitimate deposits.

Several Rival groups have stepped up to the plate and have agreed to pay commissions on any "lost deposits" due to processor confiscations. It's those groups who are willing to stand behind their processing that should continue to get our traffic.

Why would anyone want to continue to send traffic to a group that won't pay commissions on legitimate players when there are several groups who are prepared to do so?

NDA, it's my point of view. I work on USA market so i take some risks, if affiliates don't want take some risks with affiliates programs i think the best thing for these affiliates is to give up gambling and try to sell something else on internet. Gambling is risky on internet : i decided to work properly with affiliates, i cannot pay commissions on money that i haven't earned.

Trying to obtain money from affiliates program, knowing perfectly that we lost money exactly as affiliates, is not the good way to save our business : it's the best way to see shaving, casinos closed, dark methods, etc. Stop to dream : casinos doesn't find money on the floor, we're exactly like affiliates : we have to work hard.

With all do respect, I think you are missing my point.

Several Rival groups have agreed to pay affiliates for any "lost deposits" due to processor confiscations. Therefore, it's in every affiliate's best interest to promote the brands who are willing to do this. The brands that are not willing to do this (whether it be because they are not financially stable and are "looking for money on the floor" or for other reasons) are the ones who stand to lose significant business.

Affiliates do not need to give up. Because of the Rival brands that have stepped up to the plate, we now have choices. We can choose to promote the brands that will pay us commissions for the legitimate players that we send them or we can promote the programs who refuse to do so. I can't speak for everyone, but I am sticking with the programs that are going to pay me for the players that I send them.

This is the statement, that we sent out yesterday. We will definitely inform you next week on the Master Card issue.

March 12, 2010: Statement on Progressives Contribution

Dear Partners,

We would like to inform you about our stand on the Progressive Jackpots contribution.

The introduction of the progressive slots in 2009 has not been handled with clarity, and the lack of communication provoked unfair affiliate commission calculations. Therefore, we took the decision that our affiliates will not be held responsible for any progressive jackpot contributions. All the contributions will be covered by the operator, and therefore you may feel secure, when promoting our progressive slots. Banners with the progressive stickers are available in the backend for marketing purposes. All deductions, corresponding to the progressives’ contributions will be refunded back to the affiliates.

Your business is very valuable to us, and we appreciate your continuous efforts at promoting our brand. We are about to take our final decision on the Master Card processors loss, and you’ll be updated shortly. You can be rest assured that we are taking into the consideration the interests of both the parties and our commitment towards the affiliates and the business demands.

Please feel free to contact us for any additional information, or clarification.

Best regards,
Natalie Stewart.

With all due respect.... Maybe they should just avoid YOUR program.

I don't know about anybody else, but I am in this business to make money, not to gamble. If I wanted to Gamble I would put my money on the green felt. I do my work and I expect to get paid for it... end of story.

As an affiliate, I do MY job, fulfill my end of the contract, why the hell do programs like yours have such a hard time doing their job and living up to your end of the contract??? (don't bother answering, that was a rhetorical question combined with a rant.)

NDN & Lots0 : the proof is in front of you but you don't care, you prefer to force your partners to tell you what you want to hear, in despite of the reality: this business is very special at the moment, we're in a bad phase due to legal enforcement, few softwares still continue to work in US, most of europeans casinos have been blocked and had to change their URL... So YES : it's risky, for you, for me, for everybody. You cannot continue to ignore it and only think "i'm not a gambler, i'm only in gambling because i want earn money", sorry, with all due respect, this reasoning is too simplistic. It goes directly against our common interest : affiliates and casinos have to be a team, not enemies. Casino earn money, you earn money with us. Casino don't earn money: you cannot earn money. Whether you like it or not, we're linked and it's the real basis of a fair partnership.

In Igaming.pro, affiliates can ask us 70% two times per year, when you want! Our earning model is not based on wagerings but it's based on ANW, most interesting for affiliates. More, we offer to affiliates the lowerest levels for earn nice revshare :

* 1st level: 25% of the casino’s net profits from 0.000 $ to 5,000 $
* 2nd level: 30% of the casino’s net profits from 5.001 $ to 10,000 $
* 3rd level : 35% of the casino’s net profits above 10,001 $

So, how can you imagine that i could pay by example 70% on deposits never received? Please be serious :)

I'm simply wondering me if you would accept to pay some bread that the baker made for you but cannot remove from the oven because of the oven door is broken and stayed closed, by example? Baker made the bread especially for you, but do you have to pay this bread considering you cannot eat it? Bread stayed in the oven, baker cannot sell it and you cannot eat it. We are in this situation : players came from your websites but we never received money from processors. Be sure that that this situation is unconfortable for both, not only for you, so we do our best in order to retrieve the money.
