Genting Affiliates is currently rogued due to a large set of what we believe are retroactive terms. Still awaiting a response from Genting (Will) to determine the state of these changes. From reading them - it appears to be both retroactive AND BREACH of contract on their part.

I have been in contact with my AM at Genting - and he said they are reviewing the new terms and that there "was no intention to apply any new terms retroactively on existing affiliates".
Hopefully we will have an official statement soon...

Yes, Matt talked to me very early today and said the same thing... that the terms were 'not approved'. So - we are working to reverse the damage done to the terms. I'm looking right now at the changes. He already reversed the $1000 minimum payment back to $100 and the NCO. The only remaining item is the active player rule as I recall.

I was told they "accidentally" published the new terms before they had been fully checked and approved.
You can believe that if you like...

It is always hard to tell if it is a 'back peddling' or if it is simply an error. I choose to give the benefit of the doubt here. At least they are willing to reverse it regardless of how it truly came about

Publishing these terms is still leaving a mark on Genting but they corrected themselves and IMO can be given the benefit of the doubt.
