@Guard Dog - maybe the notification system is on the blink, again. Cause the rep's last visit was July 17, 2017. Or maybe it's because of the weekend. I'm sure he'll pop in Monday/Tuesday :)

Hi guys. I've actually been on this thread after the 17th, but watching you incognito (logged out). ;) It took me a while to prepare all the answers, because the calculation is quite complex, yet I'll try to make it as simple as possible in the following reply.

Earnings between 0.01 and 30.000 – 40% of Net Win across all Products by Referred Players.
Earnings over 30.001 – 50% of Net Win across all products by Referred Players.

Net Win = Deposits - withdrawals minus bonuses (only the bonus that is converted to cash after wagering is completed), fraud costs and network (admin) fee.

The network (admin) fee is 25% and is for the Game Providers costs / percentages, Payment Service Provider costs / percentages and network costs.
(the total costs are more than 25% but we have set this as a fixed number so the revenue share for affiliates will be higher).

Yes, you are correct - we do not allow more than 2500$ to be won by wagering bonus money. Otherwise the casino would go out of business. :)

Bonuses are not a must. On registration, a player may choose whether or not they want to use the bonus. The same applies to depositing money. There's a dropdown on registration (which you can see even without having a player account), and similar one exists on deposit in the cashier menu.

Generally, we would not want to pass full fraud amount to affiliate. If a few occur, we'll let it by and just remove the commission for those referrals. However, we reserve the right to do so in case of many signups from your referrals show up as fraud and we end up with chargebacks. Please refer to point 5.3 in our affiliate T&C:

We have and reserve the right to pass on any Fraud Costs to Your account and/or terminate this Agreement at our discretion.

We are also not a Joke casino, but Joker casino. :)

    Hi Denis,

Thanks for getting back to us with those deduction fees :)

With all due respect, if that was true, then ALL casinos would go out of business.

The bonus wagering at Joker Casino is 40x I believe.

So a $100 bonus requires $4,000 wagering. However, the following restrictions (caveats) are also applied to bonus money:
    • Bonuses are sticky - can not be withdrawn; deducted from withdrawal.
    • A maximun withdrawal of 2,500.
    • A max bet is applied to bonuses (Max bet on bonus balance is €3.5, $3.5, $CAD3.5, $AUD3.5, SEK 35 or NOK 35).
    • Free spins given on deposit bonus(s), money won incur a further 40x wagering applied accumulative to the base bonus wagering.
    • (the bonus terms are not clearly written in some instances [ambiguous] - seems the sticky bonus is drip-feed @ $10 per $400 wagered?)
With all these bonus caveats applied, I'd be inclined to say Joker Casino has no chance of going out of business, even if it didn't have a maximum withdrawal limit of 2,500 max withdrawal on bonuses. However, to add all these additional bonus caveats and to have a maximum withdrawal limit, I believe the casino is shooting itself in the foot, here.

One of the marketing draw cards for affiliates are Welcome Bonuses. These attract players to signup at a casino. However, in this case, the bonuses at Joker Casino are so player-unfriendly, that I personally could not promote your casino, sorry.

Hi there @AussieDave . Thanks for your honest opinion. While I do appreciate your honesty, I wouldn't really call our casino player-unfriendly. We are offering a fair bonus structure and we feel that it's generous enough. Perhaps we shall revisit this in the future.

On the other hand, I am glad to get feedback from affiliates, and I would welcome more input like this one to make sure we grow as a business thanks to feedback from both the players and our partners.

    My feedback...

I don't have a problem with bonus max win caps... as long as it is made totally clear to the player before they deposit.
If the max bonus is 100, then a max win of 25x that is not too restrictive IMO.

Bonus (ONLY) x40 is only fractionally higher than average, so that's OK with me, provided it is cashable and that most slots count at 100%.

I like the bonus cap, especially for a new casino there will be an abnormal amount of bonus hunters. You might as well try to make some money from them and the bonus cap should help.

@KasinoKing - must have only skirted over my post, cause it's pretty clear from within the casino terms bonuses are sticky. AKA non-cashable-bonus. If they weren't (and instead were cashable) then it would certainly be a better deal for players taking a bonus.

IMO slots are 100% chance. They have EV that benefits the casino, for players using a bonus, so ALL slots should count towards 100% wagering. This theorectical BS which has crept in lately, when MGS casinos and alike valued slots at 100% wagering, is just another way to gain further advantage, from an already slanted footing - akin to a hollywood pre-nup.

    Oooops - my bad

Yes, you're right - "sticky" PHANTOM bonuses are a big no-no for any EU casino who wants to compete in this market :(
I don't call them bonuses, I call them "player traps" because you have to complete WR and get an RTP of more than 100% to actually benefit from the bonus.

Another casino with no chance of getting on my sites...
(I really don't like the name anyway)

I agree with all above. This again brings me to sorry all respect for Andy. BUT maybe the affiliate program is affiliate friendly but when the casino that is to be promoted is not player friendly how can they become AGD certified?? Surely if the product is really poor then how can that be any good for us affiliates?

If the terms where to be improved and Casino offer something reasonable for players then yes sure they are great but for now I would never sign up or get started for Joker Casino Affiliates sorry.

Bonuses do not make a casino bad. I'm not sure how that makes you lose respect for me (I think that is what you are saying). I don't even take bonuses at casinos (when I played a lot). I did at first, but they all have WR and usually all that ends up happening is you play your winnings back to meet the WR.

I would rather all my players not use bonuses. I stopped promoting bonuses years ago because of that. Why does that make this casino bad or me 'wrong' in your eyes?

Seems like some are just ready to crucify with no reasoning behind what they are saying lately. I don't freakin' get it.

Andy no post was started bit wrong. I ment i have a lot of respect for you and tried to make an apology start as I was making my opinion heard. I will try make sentence bit different. I have a lot of respect for you running AGD and know it is lot of hard work. (i did not try to state i am losing or have lost respect for you) hope that makes that clear ;)

I will try cut to the chase . I only asked how come a affiliate program gets certified here only by looking at the program itself and their terms and not the product/products/casinos they offer (promote) That is what i don't get to be honest. It is all good to list them here etc and give them trial but to make them certified automatic gives me trust that this program is brilliant and can make good money and players will love them.

Hope i have explained bit better Andy. This is not an attack against you I am only asking the question and trying to help here to make AGD better for us all and in my interest to help you. :)

    What he said!

This site (AGD) only looks at affiliate terms - and in this respect this casino tick all the boxes.
Bonuses are not a consideration in this.
However, as a promoter of casinos, this welcome bonus is frankly, crap, and I wouldn't consider them.
Doesn't make them a bad operator - just one who affiliates will find hard to get conversions on, IMO.

Good luck to all who venture forth!

Hi all. I just wanted to step in here and say that I'm glad we're reading this here, as it helps us get to know what affiliates will look for and why.

Again, I'd like to state that we are a business, and as such we have a bottom line to look after. This does not make us player unfriendly. We put our customers first. If anything, we do our best to provide players with information on chat, and email to the fullest in case terms are not clear enough. On top of that, we cater to the needs of the players and we are here to forge a long-lasting deal with both our customers and affiliates. Hence the lifetime commissions.

Our bonus terms are not something carved in stone so they can't be changed, but at the moment, they reflect the company policy. We understand if you may feel this will not be appealing to some people, but we offer other things to more than make up for it, like providing free spins twice a week to depositing player and twice a month for non-depositing players. And most importantly, consider buying a TV - sure, it's nice to buy the best looking brand, but having that 5 year warranty sure helps. We are looking to do the same - give people more than a reason to join, we are giving players good reasons to stay and play.

That's all fine and dandy... once the player has signed up and found out what ongoing incentives you offer...
But he wont sign-up in the first place if the welcome offer is a poor one.

How can you show someone how great your night-club is, if you can't get them to come through the door?
    That's my viewpoint anyway.
