Paddy Power Predatory Terms

I recently got a message from our affiliate Manager letting me know that if a player signs up under one product and then plays at another Paddy Power product you don't get credit for it. Anyone else encounter this and do you know if this applies to other Betfair products?

Don't know about Betfair but Paddy have always worked this way.

I am probably being too politically correct with "mistakes" but I think you get the picture. When tracking issues are actually found, there always seems like a really good explanation even if many are not realistic.

Paddy have always been that way, but Betfair afaik pay on all play across products.

Yeah Paddy have always been like this, it's why we don't really work with them except on a couple of review or offer sites where their coverage is very minimal. They have been quite difficult to negotiate with in the past and I believe the new stance is they wont negotiate on cross product at all (based on what a couple of affs have said to me recently).

Interestingly the paddy and betfair teams seem to have merged - couple of affs have said they contacted paddy and had a response from a betfair AM. I'm crossing my fingers here that the merger between the two may improve the paddy program, although there is also the risk that paddy could drag betfair down....
