Well, Rainmaker - the person behind NetEntStalker - seems to have a working affiliate link on that site. Now, that HAS really annoyed me.

Nothing to be annoyed about as I am just using the same affiliate lounge link I have always used to promote Harry Casino.

I have no idea whether it actually tracks my visitors or not, but at least it seems to re-direct to Mr Smith instead of Harry.

I have tried to contact my old affiliate manager at Harry (Pål) without any success.

Yeah I checked a few other sites as well and all Harry links are going to Mr Smith.

But again, I have no idea whether these links are tracking visitors now after the change. According to the newsletter, people signing up within the first 24 hours would not be tracked.

I also do not know if we need to change links once the new affiliate site is up.

I think this whole process is quite messy

I don't see the logic in it at all to be honest

If we take a look at other casinos/programs who have done the same thing, it's our tagged players who go missing every time. Add to the fact players (not affiliate partners), were the first to get wind of this casino switch, it turns this into yet another trust issue and am I being screwed again question.

To be fair to them: I got the player email about an hour before I got the affiliate email. It's hardly one of those situations where affiliates are kept completely in the dark. However, some kind of response from Harry/MrSmith about the whys and wherefores would be really useful.

On June 30th Betsson decided to unilaterally change Harry Casino into a new brand. We are not in agreement with the actions taken by Betsson and have therefore referred the matter to our legal team. As you can appreciate at this stage we cannot answer any more questions about the situation however rest assured that we have instructed our lawyers to resolve the matter as swiftly as possible. We are truly sorry it has come to this and wish to clarify the matter immediately.

It looks like Harry Casino is a white-label casino which is operated by Betsson, but through
some sort of branding agreement, the actual casino brand is owned by a different company.

The above e-mail seems to suggest that their is a dispute between the owner of the white-label
casino and Betsson, the operator of the casino. If that's the case, then it would probably be better
to stay clear of promoting the new brand until the situation is resolved between the two parties.

I just logged into Affiliate Lounge and don't see any media for Mr Smith. if they closed the affiliate program they should tell us... The OP commenced this thread on June 30, 2014. It's now September 25'th 2014.
Three (3) months and five (5) days BUT still no AM bothers to come here, to answer questions.

I'm not singling anyone out just stating an observation...

Imagine other programs looking on, seeing this and people putting up with this crap. Albeit a lot of disheartened posts but still people allow this program to disrespect them and treat them badly.

What picture do you think this paints for any other program, thinking about doing similar things?
