Dear Affiliate,

As per Provision 4 of the Introductory Provisions of our existing Terms and Conditions (“T&Cs”), this message serves as notice that Kindred Affiliates is changing part of the Agreement which governs our business relationship.

The main changes to the Agreement are highlighted below and a full copy of our updated T&Cs (for both Australia and Rest of World) can be found here.

Main changes:

With respect to the European Union Fourth Anti-Money Laundering Directive, laws on the prevention of money laundering and financing of terrorism and in line with Kindred Group’s policy of Supplier Due Diligence, the Affiliate will be required to verify their identity by providing copies of personal and, where applicable, company identification and registration documents.
  • 2 At all times the Affiliate agrees to be bound by the Kindred Affiliates Advertising Guidelines, a copy of which is available here
  • 6. The Company reserves the right to reduce the Commission/change the Reward Plan if:
  1. the Affiliate does not generate a minimum of 6 New Depositing Customers in a period of 3 months, except in markets where affiliate activity is restricted (e.g. Netherlands)
  • 2. The Company may terminate this Agreement immediately by written notice if:
  1. If the Affiliate does not generate any New Depositing Customers for a period of 6 months, except in markets where affiliate activity is restricted (e.g. Netherlands);
Other changes:

  • Term 3.10, point 8: provided additional examples of how affiliates might seek to ‘alter monies payable to the Affiliate’
  • Term 3.10, point 13: added ‘regulatory requirements’
  • Term 6: Clarification on when and how to invoice Unibet Services Limited/Betchoice Corporation Pty Limited.
Please carefully review these before accepting them to continue. An email has been sent to your registered email address, please take this opportunity to ensure we have your correct contact details on file.

A copy of our previous Terms and Conditions is available upon request.

Kind regards,

Your Kindred Affiliates Team

They intend to apply this retroactively, too, which is ridiculous.

32Red, Roxy Palace, Unibet, and the rest of the brands in the Kindred group should be rogued for this.

Shame on 32Red and Ed Ware for selling their affiliates down the river.

I got confirmed by them it's retro-actively. They use the usual downplay "not for your traffic, it's a starting point to find a solution".

Etc.

Bla, bla bla. Kindred = rogue. As simple as that. They've just proven it.

I had a very loyal player with Roxy Palace for many years that disappeared the day TTR took over. This player never returned since.

My earnings at 32 stopped after Kindred took over as well. They need to be marked predatory here and I hope the management takes that stance! I tried to be diplomatic about this by not posting anything, I reached out privately to my contact there as other affiliates did over at CM, some had a good result with the rule being reversed.

My contact said there are no expectations( um, sorry, yes there has been!) He tried to comfort me with saying that this rule can expand across ALL the brands they have to help ease the pain of the rule.

Just another way to weed out the smaller affiliates IMO

Agreed -- the new terms are predatory, and and the retroactive application makes the group rogue.

This is a one-sided change that only benefits the Kindred group. It's theft, plain and simple.

Josh, Zuga, Melcb, do you agree that their status here should be changed to rogue?

Errr... they are ALREADY in the rogue section here:
https://www.affiliateguarddog.com/community/forums/kindred-affiliates.352/

What will be interesting is what Bryan will do about them - this retroactive change is blatantly against his standards for Accreditation:
"Must not implement retroactive terms and conditions to their affiliate programs without explicit permission and agreement from the affiliate."
Hard to imagine that 32Red, after winning so many of his awards year after year, will have to lose Accredited status if Kindred don't reverse this decision. Maybe they'll even end up in the rogue-house!

Thanks KK -- I didn't realize they were already there.

As Rick Perry would say -- oops.

I posted a possible solution in the thread at Casinomeister, but so far it's been mostly ignored. (Only one response so far.)

I guess that's what they deserve. It's interesting to see what will happen. Being rogued at the bigger site has impact.

But reading the thread it won't happen. It seems that affiliate can make all their own deal.

Noticed all our 32red accounts dried up since the merge too.
