Hi All,

For reasons that may become known in week or so, I'd appreciate you to answer a poll question.

As an affiliate what you'd do if management of a large casino group blatantly lied to you.

Edit: It's not just a couple 1,000 dollars at stake here. It could possibly run into (just for me) 6 figure realm.
Let alone how it may have affected other affiliates income too.

Cheers

:)

That's not really a 'poll'. However, I'd hate it if I knew 100% that I'd been lied to. 'What would I do?'. Well, I'd pull all promotion of that particular group and depending on circumstances would take action in a number of ways.

Circumstances would mean that if they were a) a UK company - I would take a different route than if they were b) registered in the Dutch Antilles.

When I was populating the "poll" it (the page) refreshed 1/2 way through. Possibly posting my post but not the poll itself.

Thanks for your feedback and input tryme.

I would do all of the above.

1. contact them and ask WTF is going on!?
2. second opinion
3. close account
4. go public (thank god for AGD, CM, and so on...)

Make sure you are 100% correct then tell the SOB to shove it. There are plenty of affiliate programs out there and you must sort the winners from the wieners.

Make it public Dave
there is to much chit going on in this industry since the UIGEA
seems everyone trying to survive, and it has been always so... no matter in which business or also as a private person, if money gets short - your fantasy grows - you get more creative, get ideas how to make money.

I say , if you have proof, then make it public

If it involves that much pocket change, perhaps a plane ticket and a personal hand shake to resolve matters would be the best resolve. If I were making that kind of money I would not hesitate to make a personal visit.

I would try to work it out privately first; if they won't honor the agreement, I would have no choice but to take it public.

I've been doing this since the 10'th Sept 2010. Later to this and in part of my enquiry I was told a bare face lie - yes I have factual proof.

Put simply, they refuse to answer why they lied.

They have offered to allow a full audit of my account by eCOGRA or a 3'rd Party auditing firm. However the results/outcome are only as good as the data being audited.

Given the ramifications pertaining to the lie, right now I wouldn't trust them running a meat raffle at the local pub, let alone providing virgin (un Doctored) data to either eCOGRA or a 3'rd party auditing firm.

I need not remind people about the Grand Prive` fiasco which clearly demonstrates the results of false data.

The lie reflects back and connects to questionable practices of an affiliate program's founder who is now in business (operates a casino & affiliate program) with the party who lied to me.

In addition both parties were good friends before entering into business together.

Hence I surmise the lie was not only told in a hope I'd drop the scent but also to protect their friend, business partner and ultimately their business interests.

Given the proof, evidence and intel, including their email responses with avoidance of questions, there is no doubt in my mind that "something is crook in Tullarook!".

That's basically where I am right now.

Cheers

:)

Nothing bad. Just that I can't put all the pieces together until I get more of the variables solved :) - remember - I'm not as bright as everyone else! I was following along until the last five paragraphs which I assume will be easier to understand once the actual names / programs are released by you.

Dave I do not know 100% sure what you are talking about........the GrandPrive buyout ?

If so I can tell you I got a few hundred and that is where the story ends.

Ok it could be more but it was more than I expected and sometimes you get lied to but what can you do ?
