One thing I've learned is not to compare conversion rates across different traffic sources.

SEO, PPC, social, email and communities all behave very differently, so a "good" conversion rate depends heavily on visitor intent.

I'd focus more on improving each step of the funnel than chasing an overall percentage:

• Match the landing page closely to the search intent or ad.
• Remove as much friction from registration as possible.
• Send traffic to brands with a fast KYC and deposit process.
• Track click → registration and registration → first deposit separately, as they often have very different bottlenecks.

In my experience, spending time improving traffic quality usually produces better results than trying to squeeze another 1-2% from a landing page.

I used to look too much at the final conversion rate and it was hard to understand what was actually broken. Once I split the funnel, I noticed some sources were bringing a lot of registrations but almost no FTDs, while others had fewer clicks but much higher deposit intent. For me, improving conversion usually starts before the landing page — better filtering of traffic, better pre-sell content, and making sure the user already understands the offer before they hit the signup button. A small drop in volume is often worth it if the quality goes up.
