Video record software

Hi,

Does anybody know any free software that can record what you are doing on your desktop.
I want to be able to record playing slots and make a YouTube video from it.

See a lot of players do this and I like to record my wins also.

Love to hear of there is a FREE software for this ;-)

Screencast-o-Matic - that's what I use. I use the paid for version, which is around $15 per year or something equally tiny, but there is a free version.

I have also used Screencast-o-Matic before, I found it pretty easy to use!

I know Fraps is pretty popular but I'm not sure what are its limitations on the free version.

Snag-It is another program that can capture any part of your screen along
with the audio. We use this program for its editor that works great for
editing images, but it also captures audio, video, or images on a screen.

There is a 15 day free trial version, if you Google it.

I downloaded Fraps, but Screencast-O-Matic is much better, and easier to use. You should get the full version of Screencast-O-Matic, otherwise your videos will have a watermark on them.

Years ago I used for my 1st video (how beautiful Playtech girls spinning the roulette ball) this software:

It's completely free (Open Source).

I think I tried Camstudio before but couldn't get it to work. The program kept crashing, I could never figure out why.

I used to use Bandicam and had no problems with it. Simple and reliable

I know someone that is using Microsoft Expression Encoder and told me that is very good. Maybe you try it and see if it fits your needs.
