I created the page for a long time and gave up the one page format after your instructions. However, for one person it is a huge amount of work including study. Generally, I have been "playing" it for several years with no effect. Writing solid content takes some time and hard about it (regular work, children ...) Sometimes I think about returning to the concept of one page and putting on marketing because the creation of a large amount of content is not feasible for me. However, after reviews here and generally stated that it is rather a waste of time "this" one page :)

We regularly throw up 2-3000 word one page sites on high quality domains we don't have time to develop, just to let it age. I feel like that makes life easier when we do come back and develop further, but it isn't what it used to be as many others mentioned here.

But how about online casinos? Many of the is one-page-site with little text content. Offcourse seo is not so much important for operators as for affiliates, but anyway some online casinos / sportsbooks have good positions in serps without may pages and content.

Doesn't that depend on the keyword used? Google give extra weighting to brands, ranking them higher, again depending on the keywords used.

Congratulations, nice pages :) You could say more about the single page if you feel like it of course. Do you run SEO on your pages or rather other methods of promotion? I saw your activity here and on the GPWA and I see that your pages are successful and do not have much content. Of course, if I can ask an experienced webmaster :)

And the last question, do you think that it is worth translating the website with the theme of bitcoin and cryptocurrency betting to Russian? I am asking because I know you know this topic well. I have the opportunity to translate my content into Russian at a low cost. I would also like to point out that the Russian language is found outside Russia.

now with Bert, even if you have 100 pages you still don't know how to rank better
1 page won t work in my opinion

A lot of newbie affiliates do not realize how important this technique is. No matter what you do, no matter how good your content is; unless a certain threshold has passed say 12 months or so, you will not see any gains.

It is much better to write something mediocre, let it rest for a year, then really improve on it after 12 months. Or, just buy pre-aged sites with no bad link profile and then construct.

I was throwing up a one page site to age a domain for future use so figured I'd investigate this a little. It'll get built out to a full site one day but for now just a single page with multiple sections.

Have actually been a little surprised at the results so far. I'm not going to share the domain as it's actually quite a nice niche keyword that's relatively easy to rank for, but happy to share how it gets on:

    Launched: July 2019
    Domain: EM .com
Target: Sub-niche with about 850 searches split between two forms of the name (one exact, one plural)
    Links: Small handful

Primary keyword rankings after 4 months: https://snipboard.io/YQ60Ht.jpg

Make of it what you will. And bear in mind it is a fairly easy term to rank for but it's doing a lot better than I was expecting.

    Hey Baldy,

Was it a newly reg domain? Did it have any backlinks already or have you built any?

I'm assuming you havent done anything other than sticking the content up and leaving it?

The reason I ask is I'm in a similar position with what I think is a great exact match domain, easier to rank for than the KD yours is showing :) but has a similar amount of searches. I too am torn between building it now or throwing something up and leaving it.

It was a newly registered domain. Never been registered before and no pre-existing links.

We've built in a few links and we include it in our general content update schedule so there is a bit of fluid content on the page (ie: the page isn't totally static). The updates are relatively minor though, just enough to keep the page fresh and up to date.

Yeah I'm surprised, it's almost like the old days where an EM would rank almost immediately for it's EM term. I wasn't really expecting to see any proper movement for another few months at least but it basically popped straight in on page three and has been slowly climbing ever since.

I'll update in a few months with how it's getting on.

Whatever you do; the content will win in the end; and, it has to be "decidedly" better than what is ranking at the top at the moment. Otherwise all this waiting time would be meaningless.

Like I say, I'm sharing this info without comment. I was throwing content up on the domain anyway so thought it wouldn't hurt to test it out.

Tbh the current top ranking pages for the terms are pretty generic themselves.

So, however, it can go with a single page in a specific niche. I think it is obvious that it is better to have more pages, but on the other hand most people only click on the first three results on the search engine page for a given password, and in competing terms it is very difficult. There may be a chance in the niches or slogans of the long tail.

I think it also depends on the number of people dealing with the site and the time. Being alone and wanting to create good content you have to spend a lot of time writing long exhausting content and there is zero time for marketing, and as a result, nobody will read this content. In this case, a single page may be a good solution.

Crypto is kinda popular niche in Russia, and plenty of bloggers still trying to build the channels on youtube even it is not making such a bag of money like in 17/18, but as soon it will hype again - it will be a massive impression from this geo, so on my opinion it worth it!
