Hey Experts,

Sharing a recent experience we’ve had with 2–3 Affiliate Programs.

We agreed on the terms and started working with them on a pure CPA model. Within just 10-14 days, after generating 30+ signups and around 8-9 FTDs, they cited low player value and a lack of redeposits as reasons to pause the campaigns.
What’s concerning is that 4-5 of those FTDs came in just 1-2 days before, or even on the same day, they requested the pause, which we immediately actioned.

Since then, we haven’t had much visibility into what’s happening on their end. There has been no further communication regarding pending payouts, campaign resumption, or whether they intend to continue working with us.
The pattern feels unusual, particularly given how quickly the campaigns were paused after the agreed CPA activity started delivering conversions.

Would be interested to hear if others have experienced something similar with CPA affiliates and how you typically handle such situations.

Thanks,
Ray

If 2 or 3 operators aren't happy with your traffic, you shouldn't blame them but your traffic.
That's why CPA sucks almost always. Especially if you got generic slots, bonus, free spins, no deposit traffic.
Probably one time deposits only - who barely hits the baseline, no further activity, no second deposits etc etc etc
Always the same.

Agree to your point that the freebie seekers are mostly 1-time depositors and ruin CPAs almost always. But to come to that conclusion in just 24-48 hours - is it not like developing cold feet after giving a hard committment.
There are multiple factors that determine if a player continues to go for bigger or 2nd or 3rd deposits, and most are linked to their WD process, transparency, support, offers, wagering, game RTPs etc ( all managed by the brand ).

You should always get paid on CPA deals in this situation, and the operators should not be ignoring you. If the operator wanted a quality guarantee clause, they should have negotiated a Minimum Deposit Clause with you. We usually ask for a $10 cumulative baseline for example - so a player qualifies for CPA payment once they deposited at least $10 - that's a clause we have in all of our CPA deals.

Hi,
Thanks for the response. Yes the minimum deposit clause was there and it has been met for all the FTDs.
