New Posts and Notifications

Here is another issue I just noticed with the 'New Posts' that I miss in the old forum.. I have to open and read every new post to see what its about as it does not tell you what category it was posted in... Before I would skip most of the non US ones as most of the time it didn't pertain to anything I needed to know. Now I have to open all of them to see what they are about.

Also, are we still getting email updates when someone replies to our latest post? I haven't gotten an email in a while.. If that's not on by default... Maybe it should be if it was before?

ok. I'll look into getting this fixed. email updates should work by default, I know I have been getting notifications when I post in a thread and there are new responses.

I just double checked.. My last email was on the third... Since then, nothing! I also had a look at my settings and it is correctly checked to "receive email notifications of replies"... Anyone else not getting notifications of replies via email?

I prefer the no email notification ... the last thing I need is more email.
I stop by once a day anyway ....

I'd better go and make sure that I am not defaulting ... now where did I see that option? ;-)

Hover over your name in the top right next to 'Inbox'.. In the drop down select 'Preferences' and its right under 'Options'...

Is everyone getting notifications like me? Just curious if I should now show this issue as 'resolved'.
