You failed to mention, a referred player using the refer-a-friend promo, all these friends are tagged to iGame.

If you had included the fact all refer-a-friend players are tagged to iGame, I'm sure CaseyM and others, would see this as a negative and not a plus![/QUOTE]

What are you talking about? We have at not time said all players are tagged to iGame, the friend is tagged to the first referring cookie, if all players where tagged to iGame then i would see a huge problem with refer a friend.

A lot of casino that offer refer a friend do not even credit players to affiliates.

I agree that I would not promote a casino with this promo popped up in front of the player like that. Makes no sense as an affiliate to promote it (IMO).

This promo has been designed to encourage referred and tagged players (of affiliates), to recommend "friends", in which case, these referred friends, are tagged to iGame.

Are you now saying Shaun that this is not correct?

I am pretty sure most people reading this will know that is NOT correct. iGame will tag the player based upon their cookie setting. So - if that potential player (referred friend) went to YOUR site and clicked through to iGame - that player would be yours (providing no other affiliate already sent that player over in the last x days - based upon their cookie timeout). If that potential player went to my site last, would be my player. If that potential player was never sent over to the iGame site, it would be iGame's player.

That's what I understand of it. It's not rogue at all. I just wouldn't send my players over there to have their friends harvested in this manner (especially considering the popup someone mentioned above) because then that player will likley not send their friend to MY website.

But that is my opinion :)

Lets be honest it seems we will never agree, all we are trying to do is bring more traffic to the site and honour the cookie agreement of 30 days, sorry if this classed as bad or unethical.

Thanks

Shaun
