I have noticed some ups and downs during manual searches. There is an update you can see it in GWT, I think Barry Schwartz said it looks like a core update. The biggest change is that google webmaster reports is still stuck on Aug 31, 2016. I can see my analytics through Moz but I can't see any date past that.

Webmaster reports are now up to date... I've a lot more pages indexed on my 6 month old site, rankings are up across the board.
