HUGE Google update going on/happened

Anyone else noticing a huge change in the SERPS? Seeing massive changes this morning suggesting an update is going on, could be Penguin but hard to tell as Im seeing improvements but can never know what others hav done behind the scenes

Ok, want to go back on my last comment, I have not seen a rise in traffic... however as of yesterday I am seeing 7 times more conversions!!! I have also checked serps and been boosted to top 3 positions on some very lucrative keywords, and pretty much page one for tons of content.. I am thinking this is penguin, it's the only thing that makes sense for an update of this magnitude

There has been a lot of junk up in the top 10 results "noted by their matching domains" for a while, finally Google is clearing out shop.. there is going to be a lot of tears by those that took short cuts 1-2+ years ago, I predicted this would happen a while back, let's hope it sticks and google doesn't roll back like it usually does

Agree. Conversions almost doubled here too.

Sept 1, 2016 (ongoing)
A system error began dropping all Search Analytics data after Aug 31. We hope to fix the problem soon and add back the missing data.
