Hmm, maybe I got something wrong here. Might be due to the similar name but see the screenprint attached.

They all use different domains for their landing pages and promos... similar or 100% same name, easy to get confused. So is this the same company or something completely different using the same name?

What you mean is now called Fairspin Casino and is a Bitcoin Casino with a Curaçao license, the Fairplay Casino presented here on the page of "FairplayAffs" is a casino with an MGA license and has another owner, so have nothing to do with each other ;)

Hello All,

Thank you for your replies to this thread over the weekend. I wanted to clear up any confusion that you’ve already discussed in this thread. For clarification, we are Fairplay Casino Affiliates and not fairplay.io.

It is unfortunate that we confirm that we’ve now closed our affiliate program for all markets. The following email was sent to all affiliates which I am now posting here too:

Dear Affiliate,
As you are probably aware, the German federal states are in the final stages of their preparation to hand out online gambling licenses to online casino operators.

Since Germany is by far Fairplay’s biggest and most important market, Fairplay will be looking to apply for such (an) online gambling license(s) when the time comes.

That being the case - and considering nobody knows if and how the German lawmakers will decide to penalize operators already active in the German market before legislation is rolled out - Fairplay has decided to stop targeting the German market for the time being.

Since our casino has always mainly focussed on Germany and due to the lack of profitability of the program in other jurisdictions, we have decided to close our program with immediate effect.

We ask that you remove all marketing materials for our brand and all hyperlinks to our websites, as we will no longer be accepting new affiliate players.

As per clause 13.4 of our Terms and Conditions we are terminating our agreement.

As a business, we appreciate the efforts that have been put into promoting our brand, and hope to be in a position, when licensed, to open a new program in the regulated German market.

To that end, we would like to avoid executing clause 6.2 & 13.5 and continue to pay on-going commissions while referred customers remain active with Fairplay, however, we will be doing so with negatives carried from month to month (March to April being the first carry period) to ensure that we are able to maintain a sustainable business model during this transitional period for the business.

Depending on the decisions published by the German legislators, we will be in touch to discuss a relaunch/rebranding and hope this can mark the beginning of a newly profitable collaboration.

Please acknowledge in writing that you accept the above change to negative carry over and we will make adjustments in your Affiliate account. For complete transparency, we will maintain access to the reporting platform.
Thank you for your understanding.

Any questions, please do not hesitate to contact your account manager or email us at affiliates@fairplaycasino.com

Sorry but for me it makes no sence how you decided. No one has talking about to penalize operators. The current situation is the same as we have a long time, it is tolerated. So it makes no sence to stop. If all companies and operators are thinking the same then all would have to close this market.

My impression from your statement is to search only for a reason to convert to negative carry over. You don't want to accept anymore no new players from your main market. The logical consequence is that your earnings get less. You want to pay further on existing players but you want to pay even less and convert to negative carry over ? Who should believe your explanation that it has to do with german regulation ?

I don't do that but i'm also no partner from Fairplay.
