What are the chances of this happening to the larger ones like MB and Pay Pal.

Are there real risks to these are well. I mean the US can do whatever they please in any country it seems.

I was under the impression eWalletExpress was reserved for Canadians only. However did they (EWE) ever allow USA citizens to hold an account? If they did at some point allow USA sign-ups, that's probably why the DOJ or whoever issued the warrant, is after them now.

I don't seem MB coping it, and PayPal paid their get out of jail free card a long time ago, so too did Neteller.

As far as others eWallets, not too sure of the powered leverage in places like the EU.

However the way the industry in going lately with this BS, shaving and other scallywag behaviour at epidemic levels, I'm looking at other verticals. I for one don't wish to go down with the ship!

In addition I have to consider how safe these ewallets are. If your a UK citizen you have the protection of UK consumer affairs should anything go ass up at MB & those ewallets based in the UK. Other people is other Countries don't have that protection.

When I get wire payments, if they go via the UK then Australia I'm fine, I get the money within 48 hours. However if it goes via the USA it can take 5 days. Seems to go into limbo, checked out & forwarded on.

Personally I'm just sick and tired of all the stress, headaches and BS this industry gives me.

Ewallet Express was an option for Canadian and US players....moreso US after Neteller pulled out of the US market. And that is why they've been targeted I'd guess. I wouldn't worry about Moneybookers, as they haven't allowed US accounts (for gambling), since the inception of UIGEA. I have used MB for years, and still do.....but even so, I would never keep much money in any online ewallet account. Not after the Neteller debacle. When I initiate a cashout from a casino, I request my payment as soon as it hits my MB account, via cheque. Or in the case of 32Red and 3Dice, I have my cashouts sent back to my prepaid Visa card, and withdraw at the ATM.

I feel very bad for any US players who have funds tied up in EwalletExpress. One lady at CM said that she has over 10K in there. I don't think she'll be seeing any of it anytime soon...much like what happened with Neteller.

What gets me is their excuse of "technical" issues. Yeah right....for months?

My guess too. See what greed gets you! I'm sure if they pulled out of the US market, I doubt they'd be up sh#t creek today spearing tadpoles with crowbars.

I have been hearing rumors no processor is safe now. NO matter what country they are in and what countries they provide service for. Even banks are becoming an option for people. Nothing is safe. Looks like the best bet is shut down the whole industry for god sake.

Just reads this on MB - it looks like they are going to rebrand to something called "Skrill"

Read this from their page.

It looks like the USA will have control over MB soon as well.

Moneybookers has done legitimate biz in the US for a long time. If you play a facebook game, you can use moneybookers to deposit.

I've talked to a couple of merchants that should have gotten this letter from ewallet express stating that their funds have been seized by the DOJ, these guys do millions in business with ewalletexpress, if the wallet was going to contact anyone it would be them... They never received anything like that at all from them. As a matter of fact they have gotten info in the last few days from ewalletexpress about the new functions and speed AFTER the current upgrade to ewallet express is complete.

All I hear are a lot of rumors and scared people... Not a single fact or corroboration has shown it's head here or on any board.

I beleive the option for usa players to join has been removed from the pull down menu and only Canada is available.
