No the player was not German according to the program stats.

It doesn't just smell, it bloody stinks.

I saw email alerts to this thread in my inbox but didn't read the posts. I was going to come here and say something about some jerk who just nailed us for a 36k USD win in one sitting.

Then I came to this thread and saw your numbers for this player.

 Wow. Talk about getting crushed! I'd have an bottle of scotch in my immediate future if that happened to us.

I hope the program is straight and I also hope he dumps it all back to you. Today.

Let's just say that my next prediction is that we won't see any more activity from this player ever. I'll be happy to be proven wrong.

An end of month dip can happen naturally - but when it's repetitive then you have cause for concern - and the best action to take is to extricate yourself OUT of that program..

WHAT ARE THE ODDS ?
If you experience one dip once a month at a program - then I guess there is a 10% chance that it will happen at month end (within the last 3 days of 30 day month) - that's means it might happen once a year per program.
It's a bit higher. End of the month salaries are paid, which (perhaps) means that players play more and stake higher. Play more and higher stakes increases also the chance of bigger winnings. I've seen this at internal stats of some casinos of operators that I know personally.

That was because of a discussion about all those insane payouts always at the end of the month. However, I won't put my hand into fire for every operator.

It does smell fishy. It's easy to come back from small losses, but not that easy to come
back from huge losses. I would be asking the affiliate manager for more details about it,
and see what I could find out.. before scaling back on future promotions or removing them.

We have had a player since 2009 on a program who deposited over 200,000 euros in a single month at times and we get paid but also many times he lost 50k and win all back last minute.I would wait to see what shakes out next month ,he obviously loved that casino to make that many deposits so if it is all legit he will come back and lose more this month. If this is the end of the story then I think you got shafted.

This happened to be at a couple places over the years - 60k + and the last day of the month bam- hammered with massive winnings (they call winnings) what I found out later they gave the player huge bonuses and gifts which they took off at the end of the month - including 1 time a boat cruise (15 K) then they took the player away - into the neither world of high roller status.
Needless to say I stopped sending them traffic

Hi CBG - U know which program I'm talking about - didn't u and your husband go on those cruises?
Well that narrows it down to 3 programs for me :) In 2014 we went on a fortune cruise and also 3-4 other affiliates were on this trip .We have been on trips with 888 and also Star Partner .My husband exclusively plays at 888 now , I hate the program and don't work with them but they are very good to the players .My gift for being loyal to Fortune all these years is getting my commission cut to 25% since Buffalo took over ,their bottom line will go up significantly with the application of quotas and slashing commission so this merge will be seen as a great success by their shareholders .Personally though many good people we know are gone , they closed the VIP program so nobody will be getting any trips or gifts moving forward ,all that is replaced by a automatic bonus offer of 120% when you login .Yes 120% bonus offers on first deposit of the day uncapped .I know many VIP players there and have sent many over the years they are all very upset with the changes and new people handling things .
